"You better tell me something that i need to hear." I say as i walk confidently into the discussion sector.

Im met by 5 other officers, this room used to be overflowing with millions of ambitious officer's ready for this case but ever since the 3 stooges came into my office telling me the case is being thrown out I haven't been able to trust most of the officers on my case

All i need to know is how they knew anything about the case not having any further evidence to take it to the court in the first place but all i need to do right now is get this victim to file against them.

"We did all the work we could to try and gain more evidence for the case, we went back to the house that we first went to and they cleaned that jit up. Ain't nothing but a speck of dust in that piece." Kai says while playing around with a pen on the table unconsciously

"Well maybe if someone did their work properly then they wouldn't have noticed anything was different and wouldn't have cleaned the whole spot." Officer smith Interrupts while tutting towards kai,

"You better watch yourself, because the last time i checked your chief was also part of that same investigation, fool." He scorns while leaning forward on his chair to face Smith.

To think we are actually related is a sad thing...

"Calm yourself Kai, its not all about you." smith returns before taking a long sip onto of whatever he has in his 'I love my wife' mug. Ironically

"First of all i dont want to hear nothing from either of you! Now, im being serious about this case. Im tired of being a baby sitter in this damn office. Im your boss but that doesn't mean im getting paid to look after you grown ass men so lets focus!" I exclaim with a stern tone.

The room went quiet and gave me a minute to actually think for a moment. My whole mind has been filled with with only too much distractions over the past few days.

I haven't heard from ziana since she actually agreed to go through with this deal for me. Well for her too.. and i think im going crazy because i felt like calling her, just to see how her pregnancy is going,

I feel like she shouldn't be alone for this But she doesn't want me there for this child at all.. i need to respect that,

"What do you need us to do chief? We are ready." One of the other officers piped up saying,

"Thats the exact attitude that I need, Good job." He felt like a kid at a candy store, sometimes its just that easy.

"Okay, i put the other officers in charge of parole today, personally I couldn't trust any of them half enough to give them any more of a part with this case. Especially since its a matter of life and death now."

I place a hand on my chin as i pace around the small room with a simple rectangular table and a wooden pin board on the wall with faces of suspects from years back on it and lines of wool connecting each one to the other.

"I want smith and Michaels on the case looking for more evidence about that sign that we found in the garden at the last search. Do all you can to find out concrete evidence on what it means and where it comes from."
