Y/N's POV:

Shit. How am I supposed to kill Nightmare, if I don't have a weapon? That's kind of against logic.

I looked at my S/C soul. If I learned anything from meeting Sans, I'm going to have to be careful. I'm not sure if all of the Sans have the power of telekinesis using my soul, and I didn't want to find out. How am I supposed to fight him? With my fists?

Nightmare seemed to notice my problem, and scoffed, "How are you going to fight me? You have no choice, Y/N. Just beg me to spare your life, then maybe I'll consider not killing you. Perhaps join the Villain Sans."

I spat on the ground, "Dream on, bitch."

Instead of getting irritated, Nightmare just laughed, "Have it your way, Y/N."

He looked at me, as if he's expecting something from me. He haven't killed me yet. What am I supposed to do?

Then I remembered something. Didn't Ink mention that I had a power of some sort? I could use that, but Ink never told me what it was though. Fuck his vague answers. I needed to buy time.

I pretended to hesitate, as if what I was going to say hurt my pride. I never thought I was a good an actor, but I guess it's important when my life is on the line, "So... What's the Villain Sans group?"

Nightmare laughed, "I knew you were going to take the cowardly way out. Most people do."

"Answer my question."

He shrugged, "It's basically the same as the Star Shits, but opposite purposes. We want to destroy them, and they want to protect them."

Okay. Not detailed enough, but whatever.

"Why did you suggest me to join? After all, I'm just 'a dumb mortal' to you."

"Well, Error didn't want you dead. That's weird, coming from him. He wants every anomaly that exists dead. I guess that's also strange, since he's an anomaly himself. So, what do you say? You can always do something at our place."

I looked at him. I didn't want to make a choice already. Then I thought, Hey. Since I'm special and all, aren't I the main character?

That was the dumbest thought I ever had in my terrible short life, but I was sort of desperate at the time. Desperate times calls for desperate measures. Out of nowhere, I raised my hand, copying Sans. I silently prayed that this worked, otherwise I'm going to die as a dumbass. I didn't want to die as a dumbass— nor did I want to die either.

Nightmare's SOUL popped up, and as I lifted my hand, he flew up. I threw him against an invisible wall I didn't even know existed. His look of shock was priceless. Unfortunately, I didn't have my phone with me. Otherwise, I would've took a picture.

I stood there, stunned. I flexed my fingers and looked at it. It looked no different than before, what changed? Did that really just work?

I smirked to myself, putting my hand up to my forehead, laughing to myself. That dumb thought really saved me.

To my slight surprise and disappointment, Nightmare was still alive. It made sense, since Ink told me they were fighting against the Villain Sans for a while now, but that didn't stop me from being disappointed.

"Why can't you just die?" I sighed. If only if life was that simple. I would've get this over with.

"Huh. No wonder Error didn't let you die. You're special," he smirked, "That doesn't matter anymore. You have no chance against me, especially if you're in MY TERRITORY."

At those words, another thought flashed through my mind. How could I forget? This was MY dream, so I can control what's in it.

"No. You're wrong," I took a step forward confidently.

Nightmare looked at me and frowned. I could tell that his undying and dumb ass confidence was finally wavering.

I held up two fingers and smiled, "Bye-bye."

I snapped my fingers, and before I knew it, Nightmare disappeared. He just turned into liquid and mixed into the dark liquid.

Everything around me faded into a bright light. I opened my eyes groggily. I squinted, my eyes still blurry and still trying to adjust to the light.

When everything got cleared up, the first thing I see is Ink's face hovering besides me, "Hey. Y/N. You good?"

The fuck-

A/N: I took a while to write this chapter. I was procrastinating too much. ;-; Also, if I make any grammatical or spelling errors anywhere in this book, please tell me. I skip over those sometimes.
