Everything's blurry when you awake, your head in so much pain it feels like it's about to split in two. You groan softly, trying to move to touch your head before you realize you can't move at all.

You're sitting upright, your hands bound together behind you. Your eyes slowly open, and you find yourself in some sort of basement. "So you're finally awake, huh?"

A familiar voice rasps. You glance over, finding Dabi sitting right in front of you, staring at you with that intense blue gaze of his. And that's when it all comes back. That's when you remember how and why you're here, and why you're tied up.

"I'm sorry about all this. But if you just let me explain-"

"Please, Dabi. Please tell me you didn't do this. Tell me you didn't kill Keigo or Natsuo, or- or Shigaraki." He doesn't respond, just gives you a blank stare.

You can't help the sobs that escape you. Everything about him is a lie. He's a murderer. He's done horrible things. He's stalked you, violated you, destroyed your life, and forced his way into it. How could you have been so blind?

"Hey, listen." He reached over to cup your chin, but you tear your face away from him. "Don't touch me!"

You seethe venomously. He pulls his hands away, giving you a look.  "Now doll, don't be like that. I just want to explain."

"Don't call me that. I'm not your doll, your baby, your girlfriend, your anything! You killed my friends! You stalked me and took pictures and videos of me! You destroyed my life, you psychopathic bastard. I hate you!" You snap, feeling yourself boiling with rage.

You flail around in your bonds, kicking and screaming, trying to break free. But they're tied too tight, and you know you can't.

Instead, you end up falling backward in your chair, but Dabi manages to catch you before you hit the floor. He's growing frustrated now. "You don't mean that."

"Yes, I do! I hate you! Let me go!" You scream, throwing a tantrum. Tears are streaming down your face, and you're using all the strength and energy you can to fight these bonds. To fight him.

You accidentally kick Dabi in the face, during your hysteria causing his nose to bleed. You don't feel bad. In fact, you feel some pride from hurting him, after everything he's done.

But a small twinge of regret settles in your gut when he stares at you intensely, almost threateningly. He pulls away, wiping the blood from his nose. "I'll give you some time to think."

With that, he gets up from the couch he was sitting on, going upstairs, and slamming the door shut, leaving you all alone, in the dim, cold, basement.

--

You scavenge the basement to find something to help you escape. There's nothing but a few empty boxes, a couch with a pillow and blanket on it, and some lint. There is also one window, but it's boarded up, the nails hammered in tightly. It seems like he anticipated your reaction and cleaned out the room, taking anything you could use with him.

After a good amount of jerking around, and a solid fall, you end up getting one of your hands-free. When you do, you make your way up the stairs, dragging the chair behind you, doing what you can to break open the locked doorknob, even using the chair on your arm.

You slam against it, three times, using all your might, but it still holds strong. There must be a padlock on it or something

Unfortunately, you lost your balance, causing you to take a tumble down the flight of stairs. Luckily, you don't do anything too damaging, but you sprained your ankle pretty bad.

You attempt to get to your feet and walk on it, but you fall, letting out a cry of pain. Defeated, you crawl to the far corner of the basement, moving your body into a tiny bawl, crying and crying, until you grow exhausted and fall asleep.

You wake to the feeling of cold hands examining your ankle, making you cry out and flinch, your eyes opening and your body jolting.

When you realize it's Dabi crouching down in front of you, you try to scramble away from him, but he pulls you back. "Easy. I'm not going to hurt you."

"You already have." You croak, your voice raspy from sleep and dehydration, your throat dry.

"You messed up your ankle pretty bad. How the hell did you manage to do this?" He murmurs, ignoring your comment. You just shrug in response, unable to keep eye contact with him.

"You're going to elevate it and you'll need some ice and pain meds. You want some water too?" He offers, and you nod, reluctantly accepting his offer.

With that, he pulls off your remaining bindings, and picks you up suddenly, carrying you over to the couch, making you cry out in surprise. He sits you down on the couch carefully, before turning to leave.

After a few minutes, Dabi returns with what he mentioned before. He hands you the glass of water and the medicine, before putting some ice on your ankle. You hissed at the cold, flinching slightly.

"Take the medicine. It'll help you feel better." You gazed down at the pills in your hand, hesitating. They looked like simple pain pills, but what if they aren't? What if he spiked them with something else?

He's lied about so many things, what's one more? You did try to escape after all, so why not hurt you?

"You don't trust me at all, do you? They're not poisoned, so just take them." Dabi remarks. Reluctantly, you take them, before laying back.

You'll figure out another way to escape. But there's no way you're getting out with your ankle in the condition it is right now. "Get some rest, okay? I'll be back later, and when you're ready, I'll explain everything."

You just nodded, too mentally drained to say anything. With that, he presses a kiss to your forehead, leaving you alone once again, to process everything that just happened.

(A/N: Yeah, a lots going on rn
