"Rise and Shine, pretty boy." A familiar voice echoed in Keigo's head, bouncing around like a ball in a game of ping pong.
Slowly, he wakes, groaning slightly. His whole body is sore, his head mainly throbbing in pain. He can barely think, barely even move. It feels like he's been drugged with something.
His eyes slowly flutter open, taking in his surroundings. His vision is blurred, so it's hard to make anything out, but what he can get is that he's somewhere, dark, dim, and cold. It looks like a basement or a warehouse. He can't tell. All he knows is that it's far far away from his dorm where he fell asleep.
But why can't he move? He tries wiggling his fingers and toes, barely managing to get them to shift a little, and then he tries moving his arms. That's when he realizes, his hands are tied together by some sort of rope, his body seated in some sort of chair. There's duct tape on his mouth, blood dripping from his head and moving down to his eyebrow.
And as his mind starts to clear up, it finally hits him. He's been kidnapped. But by who?
His golden eyes lock with a familiar set of cold blue ones, the man emerging from the shadows and into the dim light. Dabi. It was Dabi.
"Finally figured it out, huh? You're a smart boy, I knew you could do it." Dabi taunts, walking around him and circling him like a shark in blood-filled waters. Keigo did his best to glare at him, trying to figure out how and why he's here.
"You're probably wondering how you got here. Turns out, when you drink, you're a pretty heavy sleeper. And it wasn't that hard to find you from the directory. I even used (y/n)'s." And then it hit Keigo. You. That's why Dabi is doing this.
It all makes sense now. The way he looks at you, how possessive he is despite being your "friend." How he glared at Keigo. And most importantly, the death of your ex-boyfriend. It is all him. He is sick, and he's obsessed with you.
Keigo wants to scream at him, wants to swear him out and tell him what a horrible person he is. How he doesn't deserve you. How he's violating you. He even starts to, muffled curses spilling from behind the duct tape.
"What was that? I can't hear you. Hold on." Dabi tears off the duct tape on his mouth, a horrid burning sensation going over his lips, making the skin all red and irritated, and Keigo swear from the pain.
"You killed him, didn't you? You sick fuck? You killed (y/n)'s ex? Are you going to kill me too? Burn me alive and let the police find my remains?" Keigo seethes, jerking around in his seat, flailing around, kicking his legs out, and struggling under the ropes.
While he does seem like he's freaking out, deep down, he knows to remain calm, thinking up a plan. Now, he's not stupid. He knows the only options he has is either giving in and let him do this to him, let him do this to you. Or he can find a way out of here and hope for the best.
His legs are free, if he kicks around hard enough, maybe he can fall backward and break his chair. The only problem is figuring out how to fall without splitting his head open.
"Nah, I think I'm going to wait a little, maybe torture you, make you regret you were born, and then I'll kill you," Dabi answers simply with a shrug, as if the heavy task is nothing, because it means nothing to him. Keigo wonders how many people he's killed to make him this numb to it.
"No, you can't do this to me, you bastard! I won't let you." He kicks around at him struggling in his chair desperately, before it fell backward, breaking, his back hit the floor roughly, making him pause and groan out in pain.
Dabi sighs, shaking his head, and crouching over him. "Now don't do that, you're going to hurt yourself before the fun starts."
He's distracted, and this is it, Keigo's chance! He punches the murderer square in the face, catching him off guard, making him fall backward and grab his nose, which is now bleeding. "That's for (y/n), you shithead."
Keigo rushed over to the door, struggling to open it. There's a lock on the two handles, keeping him trapped inside. One with a combination. It seems like this time, Dabi is two steps ahead of him.
Before he can even try to break the lock open, Dabi is back on his feet, sprinting over to him. He grabs the blonde by his shoulder, giving him a rough punch back, one that makes him fall and his head throb in pain. His eyes are all unfocused from the other hit to his head, and he's more than positive he has a concussion.
Dabi drags him backward, holding him by the rope that binds his hands together, shoving him back on the ground. "It's a shame. You really shouldn't have done that. I was rooting for you. But it seems like I'm going to have to make you pay now."
"Fuck you." Keigo spat, blood dripping from his own nose into his mouth, the sour metallic taste making him gag. He can feel his eye bruising from the punch, and to make things worse, Dabi gives him a kick to the stomach, making him throw up onto the basement floor. "You won't get away with this. Who the hell even are you?"
"Oh, I already have. And that's it, the last surprise. Who I truly am. I'm sure you'd be familiar, considering you worked at an internship for him, Keigo Takami." Wiping the blood from his nose, Dabi leans over into his ear, whispering his full name. His real name.
"_________"
A shocked look spreads across his face, golden eyes growing as big as saucers, his mouth going agape. Pulling out a fire starter, Dabi lit a stack of logs on the outer edges of the room, shutting the vents. Giving him one last wave goodbye, he left, locking the door behind him, as the fire begins to spread.
Keigo coughs and coughs, inhaling all the smoke, struggling to breathe. The fire grows closer to him, eventually burning him from his feet up. The flames start to engulf his body, burning him painfully, and he thinks back on his life, back on you. This is it.
If he did things differently, would he be here? Probably not. He has so many regrets, so many things he can't fix, that he so desperately wants to. But he knows he can't. He hopes you'll be okay, hopes you'll run far far away from that psychotic bastard, hopes you'll figure out before it's too late. You're smart, he knows you can. But most importantly, he hopes you can forgive him.
We had some fun times, didn't we (y/n)? I just hope you can forgive me for all the fucked shit I did. I miss you. I love you, and I always will. Goodbye, (y/n).
(A/N: Goodbye, Keigo
