You can't sit still. You're tossing and turning constantly, your mind finding new things to worry over. Your anxiety has gotten to its worst, to the point where you haven't been able to sleep for the past few days. It's six at night, and you haven't done anything. You've just been stuck in bed, too tired to move, but too stressed to sleep.

Rolling over on your side, you sigh, grabbing your phone and turning it back on. Miruko finally decided to go to the police station and file a missing person's report, and she told you she would keep you updated. You try not to check your phone too often and bother Miruko, but every now and then, you can't help but look.

You're staring at your phone, and the next thing you know, you've grown too anxious, typing up a message and sending it to her. At this point, Miruko is your only point of comfort. You don't have anyone to talk to, since Dabi is gone, and you don't want to speak with your friends at the moment.

You: Any news?

You drop your phone, letting out a frustrated sigh, and running your hands through your hair, cursing yourself for bugging her yet again. You know she'll text you if something happens, and that you should just leave her be, but you can't help it. Suddenly, the phone dings, making you jump to grab it.

Miruko: Nothing yet

Miruko: I'm still just waiting

Miruko: Don't worry, I'll let you know what's going on

You: Okay thanks

You shut off your phone, placing it back on your nightstand. You know you should just leave her alone and focus on other things right now, but you can't. You have to know what happened to Keigo.

And also, you will admit, you are a little lonely. You have no friends that you can talk about this with, and Dabi is gone on his business trip, and you feel so alone. So lost. But isn't this what you wanted? To have no one close? To have no one to be attached to?

All you know is that you feel empty and it hurts, like a numb pain lingering in your heart. It hurts bad and you don't want to hurt anymore. You just want-

Suddenly, there's a knock at the door, making you jump and snapping you out of your thoughts. Despite how alone you feel, you don't have the energy to talk to anyone right now, so you lay back in bed, hoping whoever it is will just go away.

But they don't. And there's another knock at the door, this one seeming a little more urgent. So, you reluctantly get out of bed and creep over to the door, peeking through the peephole to see who it is.

It's some guy you don't recognize, standing at your door, tapping his foot, and glancing around the hall curiously, while patiently waiting for you to open it. You take a moment to peer into your bathroom and touch up your appearance to look a little more presentable and less homeless before going to open the door.

When you do open the door, he seems much more familiar, now that you can see him up close. His hair is white and spiky, his skin pale, and his eyes a dark grey which shine slightly with optimism. There's a warm expression on his face, a huge smile crossing it, as if the world hasn't crushed him yet. You see that positivity only in freshmen, and you can tell that's exactly what he is. His body is the opposite of his looks. Strongand sturdy, almost hulking, in a way, and if he didn't have such an approachable look on his face, you'd probably be intimidated.

"Hi, I'm moving in right next door and-" You put a finger up, interrupting him, not ready for so much energy, attempting to get him to slow down. "I thought freshman wouldn't be moving in until next August."

"That's right, I just got a bit of a late start. There was a whole mix-up with the papers and everything. It's way too complicated to explain. Anyways, I'm Natsuo." He offered you his hand to shake, which you took, subconsciously noting how big and strong they were.

"You know, people usually say their last names too when they introduce themselves. You got one?" You teased. It's always fun to mess with freshmen and get under their skin. It even made you feel a little better.

His cheeks went pink, and he rubbed his neck, flashing you a nervous smile. "Oh, right, sorry. I'm Natsuo Todoroki."

That's when it all clicked. So that's where you recognized him from. He's a Todoroki. The older son, you believe.

The Todorokis are one of the richest families in the world and the richest family in Japan. You've heard about them all over the news and magazines, and how secretive they are. No one really knows what's going on with them. All you really know is that they're extremely wealthy, all from their patriarch, Enji, who runs Endeavor Corps.

But if Natsuo's so rich, Why isn't he staying in his mansion or something? Why would he stay here? Alone, in this shitty dormitory?

You decided to push away your curiosity, for the time being, trying to be polite enough to introduce yourself. "I'm (Y/n) (l/n). It was nice meeting you. I'll see you around, I guess."

With that, you shut the door, even though it seems that he wants to continue talking with you. The little social battery you had ran out, and you made enough conversation, satisfied with the talk you had. It did help, and it even distracted you from Keigo.

He isn't even the first thing to pop into your mind anymore, no. Now it's your new, rich neighbor. And you'll admit, you are a bit curious about him. So for now, you suppose, you'll try to get some rest with your new neighbor on your mind.
