— sakura's pov —

i focused back onto work after watching drive away with that pink head.. i bet they're gonna get together!

"sakuraa! i'll take over here, matsuda told me to tell you to talk to him real quick" hayami stated with a bright smile.

"huh?.. alright! i'll try to hurry up"

i quickly rushed over to matsuda, he wasn't in the kitchen as usual.. he was sitting on a table with some of the chinese men.

"sakura, come here!" he waved at me, i out my hands behind my back and smiled before sitting down.

"ah sakura, i haven't seen you in a while, how have you been?" i only just recognised zhang now.

"i've been better since you helped matsuda to open up this shop" i smiled at him.

zhang is a really sweet person! if it wasn't for him and matsuda... i wouldn't be where i'm at right now.

im poor right now, im aware of that, but things would be much worse without them.

— flashback —

"hmm.... yea, i think she'd be worth a good price!" of the men said while tracing my body with his hands.

i tried to stay still. i didn't want them to get mad at me, i needed this money.

"you'll have enough money to survive... i cant promise you that the guys we're selling you to will be gentle though, you know, you're a shy girl and these pervs love going rough on the shy ones"

i think you already figured by now.. i'm selling my own body.

what other choice do i have? i just moved to japan, i had no chances of getting a job. the only reason i can fluently speak japanese is because my mother happened to be a japanese woman, she always taught me her language because she always believed that one day, we'd be able to successfully escape from north korea.. together!

and i did escape, all thanks to her - if only she made it out alive there.

whatever, this isn't the time to swim around through the past. i have to focus on the future if i don't want to die!

"yea" i nodded back at him. "will that give us a but of a bonus?" "hmm... maybe, depends. some people are definitely into mixed women, you know those fetishists?..... would he better if she was like half latina, or blasian"
