(a/n: i just realised i've been confusing anatomy and autopsy the whole time omg ☠️)

— matsuda's pov —

i had to go to another autopsy report for sakura's body... i didn't want to go, not at all. i'm not even supposed to be alive anymore.

the reason i went is.. i know that hallucination wasn't her, but she was right either way. i want to find out what happened to her. and i will avenge her. after this, i'll go visit 'rindou haitani' in jail.

it's been about 3 days since he was arrested.

i've already figured by now.... he's the guy that had been visiting the restaurant almost daily.

i left the kitchen and placed myself against the doorframe while listening to a conversation sakura had with that bonten guy.

"y/n will be back in 1-2 days... you were probably here to ask that" "no, i really just came for this coffee" he sat back down onto the seat and took another sip "no matter how much i hate you and how much i'd wanna see you dead, the coffee is good"

he really hates her that much? what did she even do? "you hate me so much that you wanna see me dead? isn't that a bit too much you're doing?" "nah... also, good evening mister boyfriend"

sakura turned around, she saw me standing at the door frame.

yihwa didn't show up to work, she hasn't texted either... i'm really starting to get worried. i just hope y/n will be back soon, i need advice.

tao li was doing y/n's shift since both y/n and yihwa weren't here.

i sighed out, i was about to leave the kitchen but stopped myself when i spotted that same guy again - i decided to stay in the kitchen and spy on his conversation with tao li.

i could hear the coffee machine working, i just stayed there waiting for him to say anything else.

hm.. it would've really surprised me if that guy did end up liking my girlfriend.. but it makes me wonder... could his people be the reason sakura is not answering me?
