y/n's eyes slowly fluttered open and she sat herself up.

"you're up early" her boyfriend mumbled next to her.

she looked around, over to the windows. it was extremely dark outside.

"what time is it?..." "around 2 am"

"ugh... what the hell did you give me... you said it was against my headaches" "do you still have headaches?" sanzu asked her while gently putting his hand onto her forehead. "no..."

"well... that pill was against headaches... but it also helps you sleep, but don't worry, it's completely legal and not dangerous or anything"

"so... why are you still up?"

sanzu looked at her with pity on his face. "i stayed up... there's something you should know, i want to tell you as soon as i possible can.. i don't want any 'secrets' between us anymore"

his words surprised her a bit, but she was too tired to show an actual reaction.

"alright... what is it?"

"i'll be straight forward, our men found out that haoyu zhang and hiroyuki matsuda were found dead in seoul"

the room was silent, way too silent.

"y/n?..."

her eyes looked like tears were about to form in them, she stared blankly onto the blanket. her lips were semi parted, here eyebrows were raised a bit.

sanzu was aware that she had almost lost everything by now.

her bottom lip started to twitch, as soon as the first tear left her eye he pulled her into a deep hug - y/n started to cry into his shoulders, not caring who he was, she just had to let it all out.

— the next day, 3pm —

sanzu looked down at his phone, mikey was currently texting him.

y/n's thoughts snapped, for the first time in a long while she didn't think about being home alone while sanzu was gone.
