— matsuda's pov —

- flashback -

i was just about to leave the graveyard, 'chinhae' held me back.

"matsuda! thank you for coming" he smiled at me, my eyelids slowly parted a bit more.

"no... thank you for inviting me.." i put my hands behind my back and bowed a bit forward. "i'm sorry, i couldn't protect her" my nose slightly twitched.

"don't bow down, i couldn't protect her either.. i couldn't even protect my own wife, we're in the same boat"

i raised my head up again, i couldn't help but smile a bit.

he might've killed rindou, but he seems to be a good person.

- now -

i've got her anatomy report, i went to her funeral, i apologised to her father for not protecting her....

there's only one thing left that i have to get done to finally end this.

kill her murderer.

of course i saw haoyu at the funeral, and of course i acted as if we don't know each other at all.

he started working with chinhae when i left, he's not really his boss, they're somehow equal... and chinhae doesn't know haoyu knows me, neither does he know that haoyu is responsible for her death and not rindou.

i didn't want him to know, not yet. i want to kill haoyu... i want to do it myself.

- flashback -

"hao!"

haoyu turned around to me, i'm really lucky to catch him here at the graveyard without chinhae standing there with him.

"hiro... i never told you i worked for someone, did i?" he rubbed the back of his head and smiled at me, i forced myself to smile back at him. "you didn't, but it's fine... i won't be leaving south korea yet, there's some things i really want to tell you... but not at the funeral, can we meet up later?"

"yea... of course, i'll be free from 11pm to 6am" "perfect! let's meet up at..." "there's a small park nearby, let's meet up there" "alright"

i waved at him and was about to leave.

"wait!" "huh?" "did you.. see the..."

i raised a brow at him.

"nothing, i'll see you later"

i know he was trying to figure out if i saw the message he had left me in the cabin where sakura had died.. and of course i did, but i wasn't gonna let him know.
