Chapter 90- Your Day II

You passed the rest of the journey sitting beside each other with your head rested on her lap as you took a small nap. She lovingly caressed your head and gazed at you; around twenty minutes before arrival, a member from her unit disguised as a simple civilian silently came in to meet her.

"Good morning, milady." he said with a bow.

"Are the preparations ready?"

"Yes ma'am. We coordinated with the station staff and they cooperated very easily, your carriage will be waiting at gate 3."

"Good, and the hotel?"

"Of course, it's booked as you asked. The market will also be ready before your arrival. We-"

"Mhm....Signora...."

You mumbled and moved around causing them both to become alert, she quickly waved her hand at him and sent him away then caressed your head and leaned down near your ear to whisper.

"We are about to reach, my love~"

You squinted your eyes open and sat up then fixed your appearance and looked out of the window to see the approaching platform and excitedly stood up to watch. 

"Y/n, the market area is approximately one hour away from here. Do you want to stop by at a hotel first to relax?"

"Oh, will we have enough time? I wanted to explore the city a little...."

"Hmm, there's not much to see here except for the market and it covers all the activities available."

"I see. Then, let's go to a hotel first, you must also be tired after the travel and even let me sleep on your lap..."

She chuckled watching your face turn redder and nodded with a smile, the train finally stopped and you two then boarded a carriage which took you to a luxurious hotel owned by the Fatui nearby. You were hesitant to stay at such a property for only a day but Signora was persistent, not to mention how it felt that she had already booked a room judging by her talk with the receptionist. You settled in your booked room, your belongings already kept in the cupboard while you laid on the comfy bed with a sigh.

"This is nice...."

Signora too laid beside you sideways with her elbow propped up and caressed your face with a smile.

"Are you liking it so far?"

"Of course, I love it! I can see the city is not much developed compared to the capital but it still looks amazing and this hotel....I don't even have any words. I can't wait to check out the market!"

"Hehe, have you thought what you want to buy?"

"Well, there's the things for the mansion then a few groceries and....I guess, I'll just see as we go if anything catches my eye. I was thinking of taking back some souvenirs for some people also."

"Don't hold back in buying, alright? I can assure you this is one of the best marketplaces here and also, it's not a permanent place."

"It's a special kind of market held once a year, they have quite a few exclusive items one wouldn't find in normal markets across Teyvat."

A lie, a necessary lie as she saw it. It definitely was a special market housing exclusive items but not as she described it. But it hardly mattered what she said to you right now in order to maintain the surprise.

"Huh....it's strange that I have never heard of it and that it would be held in Snezhnaya of all places. Liyue or Fontaine would be better...."

"Hahah~ Are you doubting Snezhnaya's economy, my love?~"
