Jon's  POV

I had planned to take another month off and travel back to Jersey on my bike during this time, but sometimes the weather got too nasty for biking and I felt every day becoming like a routine. You get up at 7, travel a certain amount of miles and in the evening you have to search for a different hostel every day which sometimes got really time consuming. So I had started to plan my route a few weeks ago, so I would always know where I ended up and there wouldnt be any bad surprises.

But that hadn't been the reason I set out doing this. No, I actually had wanted to travel, without plan or destination. But I guess I was just becoming too old for that shit. It started to stress me out.

So I decided to book a hotel here for a few days, then I would head back to California to enjoy the end of my trip there and then I would take a plane. I informed me about the motorbike and it was possible to take it with me. So I would do that.

But for today I had planned to just eat something nice again after always having eaten at snack bars. I had found a nice Italian restaurant in a shopping center. I already got there before evening so I just looked around in the shops a bit.

Suddenly, a certain item of clothing caught my eye. It was a snakeskin jacket. I knew I couldn't just wear something made out of real animals now, the 80s were over and the world got a lot more conscious about that topic. You would only get blamed. And it was right, why killing animals for fashion? That was just selfish.

"See something you like?" I almost jumped at the sudden company. Maybe I had been staring a bit too long at that jacket. A shop assistant came towards me and I knew I wouldn't get out of this now. That's why I hated shopping. People told me all the time that I had a great body and that a certain item would suit me which I then ended up buying because I didn't want to disappoint them.

Or they told me I should start modeling. I didn't know why, I didn't find myself that good looking at all, just around average. And when anyone noticed who I was they asked me if they could take a few pictures of me in my clothes for promotional purposes.

Because all of this reasons I just wanted to say no thanks and walk away, but the shop assistant already had pushed me into their shop. So I decided to at least try this jacket.

As soon as I was wearing it, I actually started to like it. It would be great for the stage if I ever decided to tour again. "What do you think? I think it suits you very well, you could even become a model with that face and body structure."

I wondered when I asked for his opinion or advice. I rolled my eyes, but in a way the guy didn't see it and then I looked as if I was thinking about it. I wanted to come up with some excuse because I wasn't in the mood of shopping now, but the man seemed so amazed that I knew I wouldn't get out there. "Just in case you wonder about the leather, it's no real material. All animal friendly."

Well, ten minutes later I ended up buying this jacket together with a matching vest and some pants. If I would wear it with my snakeskin boots the snakes would let me join their family.

But nevertheless, I soon noticed that I had forgotten my sunglasses because a lot of people here seemed to recognize me, so I decided to buy a new pair. I instantly fell in love with a pair of dark black toned John Lennon glasses with silver accents on the sides. They were kinda expensive but I didn't need to worry about money and before I would spend it on alcohol or some other unhealthy stuff I could as well spend it on them.
