Song: We Owned The Night- Lady Antebellum.
Elliot
"I'm impressed." Sir Adam confessed once we finished explaining our idea.
"We're happy that you liked the idea, sir." Dareen grinned making me smile. She's so innocent. It makes you smile without even knowing it.
"Sir Adam, Miss Anna wants to talk to you." Maria stepped in.
"Are we done with everything?" He asked us.
"Yeah," I nodded.
"Okay, you can leave, but just keep the files for me to study them again." He smiled, and we both got up.
"I can answer her, now." He told Maria.
"Do you have anything else to do before we leave?" I asked nervously.
"You're sure that we're going to leave together?" She turned to me.
"Oh- I-" I stuttered feeling embaressed more than ever.
"Elliot, I'm joking. What's wrong with you taking everything so serious?" She giggled placing her hand on my arm sending sheivers down my spine.
I should be the one to have this effect on her not the other way around!
"I just do." I shrugged as we stepped into the office.
"I have nothing else to do, and I'm willing to go out, now if you didn't take back your offer." She smiled.
"Of course not. Let's go." I gathered my things while she started to do the same.
Finally, we're going out.
-------
"A table for two, please." I told the waiter.
"Please, follow me." He smiled at Dareen making me mentally roll my eyes.
Act cool, Elliot.
"Here you go, sir." He motioned for us to sit down, but I helped her take a seat first.
"Thank you." Her eyes dilated making me feel like I'm doing it right.
Handing us the menus, the waiter stepped back waiting for us to choose what to order.
"What are you going to take?" I asked her.
"Chicken mashroom pasta." She smiled closing the menu.
"Okay." I nodded raising my hand for the waiter to come over.
"Yes, sir."
"Listen to her order first, please." I told him, and he nodded turning to her.
"I'll take chicken mashroom pasta." She smiled while he jotted down her order.
"Any appetizer or drink?"
"Lemon-mint juice is okay." She nodded.
"Anything else, ma'am?"
"No, thank you." She smiled leaning back as I told him my order.
"Don't you want some wine?" I asked her.
"The lemon-mint here is fantastic. Don't miss it." She adviced.
"Okay." I chuckled. "Make them two lemon-mint and two chicken pasta." I told him and he nodded before walking away.
"You sound fascinated by it. I thought I should try it." I chuckled.
"Yo do." She smiled.
"You come here usually?" I asked as the waiter approached setting our plates on the table.
"Is there anything that you need?" He smiled at us.
"I don't need anything." She smiled shaking her head.
"A bottle of water would be great." I told him, and he nodded before walking away.
"Yeah, did you like the place?" She asked taking a sip of her juice.
"It's nice, and I like the view." I nodded.
"There was a place in seattle that I am really fond of. It was like my other home." She giggle shaking her head, "the waiters and chefs were my friends, and they even taught me to cook my favorite recipies."
"That's lovely." I grinned.
"Yeah, I always needed people there, so they were the ones to fill my day." She smiled faintly taking a bite of her pasta.
"Now, you have me." I reminded.
"Now, I have bestfriends that care for me and a boss who loves me like I'm his daughter, and a colleague-" She paused placing her hand on top of mine, "that I trust more than anyone else."
"Colleague?" I looked at her making eye contact. "that's all?"
"What do you mean?" She furrowed her brows.
"I mean, I care more than a colleague, and I thought that you had the same feeling, but-"
"You mean that-"
"Nevermind." I dismissed feeling frustrated more than you can imagine.
"I didn't mean to offend you, but I really can't understand." She whined.
"Dareen, I have feelings for you. I-I can't label them, yet, but I think that we're something bigger than just friends."
"Oh- yeah. I got it, now." She nodded as the waiter placed two glasses of cold water in front of us.
Without knowing it, she knocked the glass out of his hand and her squeal echoed through the whole restaurant.
"I am really sorry." She apologized kneeling on the floor to gather the broken pieces of glass.
"Dareen, it's okay." I walked around the table pulling her up.
"It's alright, ma'am. I'll clean it up, now." He smiled at her.
"I'm really sorry, but it just slipped and-"
"Dareen." I chuckled cutting her off, and finally she opened her eyes to meet mines.
"Can we please leave?" She whispered breathing heavily.
"You didn't finish your food."
"I'm full. Plus, Harry told me to be back before ten, so..."
"A curfew?" I smiled as she nodded.
"I'm not eleven, but I know that he said that because he cares, so I want to listen for him."
"Okay." I nodded letting go of her hands before picking up my things and paying for our food.
"Did something go wrong, sir?" The waiter approached with a concerned look.
"No, everything is fine, but we have to leave. Thank you for everything, and we're sorry about that accident from earlier."
"It's okay." He smiled as we started walking towards the door.
"My car is parked here." I called out for Dareen as she was walking in the wrong direction.
"Oh yeah," She nodded getting in the car once I unlocked it.
"I'm sorry for what I said earlier." I spoke quietly cutting the silence.
"What? You said nothing wrong. I guess that you're right, but we need to take it slow."
"Yeah, we need that." I nodded stopping the car in front of the building where she lives.
"See you, tomorrow?" I smiled faintly turning to her.
"Sure." She nodded gathering her things on one arm before turning to face me again. Leaning closer, her lips pecked my cheek making my heart go wild.
"Goodnight, good friend." She smiled before hopping out of the car, and walking inside.
There, I stood not moving, not replying, not even smiling. A kiss and.... 'a good friend'? I swear she wants to drive me crazy.

"I don't know, Harry! It was- I can't find the words to express it, but I guess it was incredible." I let go of a breath that I was holding out of excitement.
"Did he tell you that he likes you?" Christina grinned.
"Not exactly. He said that he has feelings for me, and that he thinks about me all the time, but when I became nervous and told him that I wanted to leave, he thought that I was mad or something."
"Your reply is crazy. The guy likes you." Harry chuckled.
"He took me off back! I didn't know what to say or do, but when he told me he was sorry for what he said earlier, I told him that I have feelings as well, but we must take it slow."
"That's just right. I bet he won't be able to sleep tonight." He laughed loudly making me blush.
"Harry knows better cause I did the same with him." Christina giggled high-fiving me.
"Yeah," He smiled hugging her from behind.
"Aww," I giggled as Picky ran to me. "I missed you." I smiled hugging her as she wagged her tail.
"Oh," Christina groaned as her phone went off.
"Who's that?" I furrowed my brows playing with Picky's silky hair as she slept on my leg.
"Dad." She sighed, but Harry just rolled his eyes.
"I'm going out for a bit."
"Harry, what's going on?" I frowned.
"The boys are waiting for me, and I think that Christina has things to tell you."
"Okay." I nodded slowly, and he looked at her for a second before walking out of the door.
"Fuck him!" She screamed waking Picky up.
"What's wrong?" I frowned.
"The same shit. Dad doesn't like him, and he's starting to tell me not to stay over. You know my father." She groaned.
"It's his right to be worried about you."
"I'm not fifteen, Dareen. Now, that bitch fights with me, and dad fights with me. I'm torn between them." Her eyes watered making me sigh.
"C'mon," I frowned pulling her in a hug. "You won't cry, now. That's just Harry for God's sake." I giggled making her smile. "I'll talk with him, but don't stay over tonight. I'll make him beg for your forgiveness." I smiled as she pulled away from me.
"We were just fine, but he doesn't understand."
"Something is stressing him out, and he's just letting it out on you. Go home now, and I'll talk to him in the morning."
"Okay." She nodded picking up her bag.
"Take my car." I threw her my keys.
"I love you." She smiled hugging me.
"Pick me up in the morning, though." I giggled hugging her back.

"How was your day?" Linda smiled as she helped me take off my blazer.
"Good." I nodded.
"Come sit with us. I want to talk with you." She whispered, and I nodded following her to the kitchen to find Ethan already sitting there eating a granola bar.
"Give me a bite." I told him taking a bite before giving it to him again.
"I'll bring you some." Linda smiled breaking a part for me.
"What happened Linda?" I asked her.
"Uh- your mother called today, and they are coming tomorrow." She sighed making me roll my eyes.
"You will show her full respect." She continued.
"At what time will they be here exactly?"
"Five in the morning. Both of you will pick them up from the airport, and you'll be good to each others."
"I-"
"I'm talking to both of you. I don't want any comments from your parents, so you better act like gentlemen." She glared at me.
"Whatever." I rolled my eyes standing up.
"I didn't finish."
"I'll do everything, but please let me go to bed, now."
"Yeah, me too. I have an exam tomorrow." Ethan said quickly.
"Hope you studied well." I commented.
"I did my best, Elliot." Ethan groaned.
"Hope so. Tell me if you need anything, and take these." I put two hundred dollars on the table before walking towards the door.
"Linda, do you have enough money? We'll be six not three." I pointed out.
"I still have some from last week."
"Okay. Tell me if anything." I nodded.
"Elliot," Ethan called making me turn back to him. "thank you." He smiled faintly taking the notes from the table. I just nodded before walking to my room.
This has been a long day, but a happy one. I'll give her time if that's what she wants. I'd wait forever just to have her.
