Song: The A Team- Ed Sheeran.

"Where are you?" I texted Elliot when I woke up to find him nowhere to be found.
"Sorry, babe, but I had to go home early. Didn't want to wake you up :(" He texted back.
"Something's wrong?"
"Ethan came back home drunk. I'm really worried."
"You shouldn't have stayed over. It was not a homework and never will be." I rolled my eyes sending it before getting up and to the bathroom.
In a matter of seconds, he was calling me. Typical Elliot!
"Morning." I sighed putting it on loud speaker.
"I'm really sorry, babe."
"I'm sorry Elliot. I'm sorry for asking you to stay. It was so selfish of me."
"It was not. I just don't want to leave mum and Alice with him when he gets up."
"Sure. Are you coming to work?" I rolled my eyes pulling out a dress.
"Yeah, but I will be a bit late, I guess. Listen, I should hang up, now. I love you. Bye." With that, the line went dead making me roll my eyes once more.
-------
"Good morning, Patricia." I smiled at her.
"Good morning. Sir Adam just came."
"Oh really? Where is he?"
"In Sir Elliot's office." She said quietly. "Okay." I nodded walking upstairs.
He wouldn't like the fact that Elliot is not here especially that this is not the first time for him to come and find out that Elliot is late.
Letting a sigh, I stepped inside.
"Good morning, sir." I greeted as he stood up with a smile.
"Morning." He shook my hand.
"Elliot has a small problem and he may be a bit late today."
"I see." He nodded to himself.
"I'd be glad if you joined me in my office till he arrives though." I suggested.
"I can't wait any longer. Tell him to call me once you see him." He sighed. Shit.
"At least have your coffee."
"Sorry, darling. I really can't. I'm glad I met you today though." He smiled stepping out of the office with me following.
"The pleasure is mine, sir." I sighed.
"Your phone is ringing." He pointed out. "Go answer it, and goodbye." He smiled faintly shaking my hand once more.
Groaning, I barged into my office to answer my phone.
"Dareen Isaac is talking, hello?"
"Dareen, come quickly." Christina cried out.
"What's wrong?" I stood up.
"My water broke, and Harry is late, and now he won't answer his phone. I don't know what's wrong." She sobbed.
"Oh my God! Okay, I'm coming, but call the ambulance till I come." I said quickly before hanging up.
"Patricia, I have to go."
"Is everything okay?"
"Yeah yeah." I said quickly walking out.
-------
"Try to take deep breaths." I told Christina.
"Call Harry." She cried.
"Okay. You'll be okay." I promised.
"Step aside, please." A nurse told me as they took her to the Labor room.
"Hello?" A stranger finally answered Harry's phone.
"Sorry, this is my bestfriend's phone."
"The owner of this phone just made an accident."
"W-what? What are you saying?" My eyes widened.
"We're taking him to the hospital, now."
"Yes, please. I'm in New York Presbyterian/ Weill Cornell Medical Center. His wife is giving birth." I cried.
"Okay, we're near it anyway." He said quickly as he hung up.
------
"Sorry, Ma'am, but you have to go downstairs to fill some papers concerning Sir Harry and Miss Christina." A young nurse whispered.
"Right now?" I turned to her.
"These are the rules." She shrugged.
"Alright." I nodded running downstairs.
"Excuse me, I'm here for Harry Steward and Christina Kevin." I told the lady behind the desk.
"Okay, fill in these papers and sign here, please. You're supposed to pay at least fifty percent of the expenses, now."
"How much is it?"
"Here's all the details." She handed me a paper.
"Oh my God." I whispered turning to her. "But-but I don't have this sum of money right now."
"I can't help you." She shrugged.
"Okay, I'll try to do something about it." I sighed pulling out my wallet.
"Try this." I handed her my debut card.
"Alright." She nodded sliding it through her machine. "Not enough money." She shook her head handing it back to me.
"It's all I have." I whined.
"We can try another card." She shrugged, and I turned to look at my wallet.
Just one card left.

Elliot
"Sorry, uncle, but I'm having a hard time with Ethan." I sighed sitting across of him.
"How did you know I'm here?" He raised a brow putting his newspaper down to give me his full attention.
"Sandra told me that you stay here in the morning."
"Sandra." He nodded. "So, I went to the company in the morning, and I honestly got confused. You're the only one that may help me, I guess."
"Sure?" I said hesitantly.
"Did you turn my company to a market?" He glared at me.
"No, actually everything is fine."
"I see, and I also see that your definition of fine changed when I gave you a responsibility. I honestly think you're incapable of taking it over anymore."
"Uncle, I am doing my best." I frowned.
"No, you're not." He snapped. "When you go to your work in the afternoon then, you're not!"
"I had a problem-"
"I used to have a lot of problems, sir." He snapped glaring at me. "But never have I ever let things go out of control. I made a tour around and no fuckin' one is doing his fuckin' work!" He yelled. "Even the CFuckingEO!"
"I'm sorry- I promise to take more care from now on." I sighed as his phone started ringing.
"Shut up." He pulled the phone to his ear. "Are you sure? Okay. no, it's fine. I'll check. Thanks for your concern, sir." He sighed hanging up.
"Someone took a shit load of money from the company's official bank account. Do you have any idea about that?" He furrowed his brows.
"No." I whispered.
"You have two days to get everything back in shape, if not, you're fucked and fired. Do you understand?"
I'm fucked.
Shit.
Fucking shit.
