"Dareen, c'mon. We don't want to be late."
"I'm here." She stepped out of the room in her cream dress and high heals.
"You look pretty." I smiled taking her hand.
"Thank you." She blushed.
"C'mon, we should leave." I cleared my throat openning the door for her.
"Is the restaurant far from here?" She turned to me.
"No, I don't think so. They sent a driver to take us there." I said quietly as we walked out.
"Here, sir. I'm Youssef, and I'll be at your service tonight." A young gentleman smiled at us.
"Okay, thank you." I nodded as he opened the door for Dareen.
"The restaurant is not so far. Sir Hamza and sir Yassine are already there."
"Hope we're not too late."
"You're not." He smiled stopping in front of a building. "Here we are."
"It's pretty close to the hotel." Dareen exclaimed.
"Yeah, I see." I agreed as he opened her door before mine.
"Thank you." I nodded taking Dareen's hand.
"I don't think that it's okay to hold hands when we're here." She whispered slipping her hand away from mine making me frown.
"Good evening." I smiled faintly greeting Sir Hamza.
"Good evening, sir." He smiled shaking my hand.
"This is Miss Dareen Isaac, my assistant." I introduced her.
"Nice to meet you, ma'am." He shook her hand.
"The pleasure is all mine, sir." She nodded with a grin.
"Uh- and this is my son and assistant, Yassine." He introduced a young man around Dareen's age who has a problem with his eye cause he can't take them off of her!
"Hello," I said sharply shaking his hand.
"Hello." He smiled faintly nodding at her as a greeting. Good thing.
"Okay, have a seat." Hamza smiled motionning for us to sir down.
After helping Dareen to her seat first, I sat down next to her.
"Is that the first time for you here?" He asked.
"Yeah." I nodded.
"I came here once with my parents, but I was too young. I honestly don't remember a single thing." Dareen giggled.
"Your name is more known here than in America, though." Yassine pointed out.
"That's because I'm Lebnanese."
"Oh really?" Hamza exclaimed. "You can talk in arabic, then."
"Not much, honestly. We moved to America about fifteen years ago because of the war.. you know." She sighed.
"Yeah, one day all these problems will end. We have faith in Allah."
"Sure. I'm waiting." She smiled.
"You must take a tour here, though. You'll love it." Yassine smiled at us.
"That's a good idea." She nodded.
"What do you think, sir?"
"Sure." I nodded.
"Would you like to drink something first, or should we order our food, first?"
"I'd love to try the wine here." I smiled as he motioned for the waiter to come.

"We need to see samples of the materials we need before signing the contract." Dareen pointed out.
"We're free tomorrow starting from five o'clock," Yassine replied, "It would be perfect if you joined us to see them."
"Okay." I nodded. "That will match our time table, right Dareen?" I turned to her.
"Yes, We're free starting from 4PM." She nodded writing down something in her notebook.
"We will be waiting for you, then."
"Okay, now excuse us. We have a long day tomorrow, so we should leave." I smiled standing up.
"See you tomorrow, then." Hamza nodded shaking my hand.
"Sure, sir. Thank you for everything here." I smiled as we started walking towards the main entrance of the restaurant with Dareen and Yassine following.
"You're welcome." He nodded as we reached the car.
"Okay, see you." Dareen giggles stopped when she saw my stern look. She's giving that boy too much attention. I'm trying to keep myself from losing my shit all night long.
"Youssef, take care of our guests." Hamza smiled as we got into the car, and Youssef drove away.
"I see you enjoyed the night." I said quietly.
"Yeah, they are sweet." She nodded.
Rolling my eyes, I turned my head to look out of the window ignoring her.
Finally, Youssef stopped the car in front of the hotel's main enterance.
"Thank you, Youssef. Sorry for wasting your time."
"Don't mention it, sir." He smiled openning my door.
"Thank you." Dareen smiled at him before we stepped inside.
"I want to have a drink at the bar. Do you want to join me?" She asked turning to me.
"No."
"Alright." She nodded walking towards the bar. Holding her arm, I stopped her. "What?!" She narrowed her eyes.
"I said no." I repeated.
"Okay, I'm going alone, then." She shrugged moving her hand from my grip.
"Don't you remember what happened last time when you went to a bar alone?" I glared at her.
"Your brother tried to rape me, and all the lies began." She answered with a glare.
"Dareen, you already drank too much. I don't want to yell in here. You're a big lady, and you should know that you can't drink anymore at that time. We're strangers here." I said slowly. "Do whatever you want anyway. I just warned you." I sighed stepping away from her and to the opposite direction.

Ignoring him, I made my way to the bar and sat on a high stool.
"A shot of cherry vodka, please." I smiled at the bartender.
"Make them two, please." A man around fifty, sat on the stool next to me.
"Here you go." The bartender slipped the two glasses in front of us, and I mouthed a small thank you picking it up.
"I see you're American?" The man turned to me.
"How do you know?" I narrowed my eyes.
"Your accent." He shrugged.
"I am." I nodded tilting my head back to take the shot in one go.
"Refill, please." I told the bartender.
"Something's bothering you?" He asked.
"Excuse me?"
"You seem annoyed by the way you're drinking."
"Are you a therapist?" I furrowed my brows.
"Why are you asking?"
"Because by the way you never stop talking, you're either a therapist or a psycho." I snapped before picking my bag and walking out without looking back.
Why is everyone interfering in my life so much?!
Rolling my eyes, I pulled out my card and opened the door to find Elliot standing there... shirtless.
"I thought that you'd have a drink?"
"I did. Put on a shirt."
"I was about to do that, but I thought that you'd give me some time to enjoy myself alone."
"It's not like I want to stay with you!" I rolled my eyes as I walked to my room slamming the room shut.
What an ass!
