Song: Don't Speak- No Doubt.
Dareen
Sitting on the windowsill, I silently watched the rain as my tears poured from my eyes.
At the sound of the door creaking, I heard the sound of Picky's feet running to me.
"Come here." I whispered openning my arms giving her the chance to sleep on my stomach.
"I'm sorry." I heard his whisper, but I just shook my head as tears continued to fall faster. "Dareen, please." He begged holding my hand with his free one while the other held our boy.
"This won't work anymore, Elliot. There's no chance. We won't survive if we continued together." I shook my head moving my hand away from his grip.
"I know that I am an asshole, and that I'm not a good boyfriend or partner, and that I have a temper that always gets out the worst in me. I know that I hurt you, but I also know that you have a big heart that will be able to forgive me." His voice quivered.
"I can't keep on doing this." I whispered.
"You can. Dareen, I need you."
"You don't need anyone. I can't understand you, and you can't understand me- my feelings and my needs. I'm sure you can find someone better cause this is not working anymore."
"There's no one better. You're the mother of my child." Taking Picky off of me, I kneeled next to him.
"If he grew up between loving parents, it would be better than staying in a home where fights are kind of a routine."
"How do you know that?"
"I know, Elliot, but you're still blinded." I sighed.
"There's someone else?"
Taking a deep breath, I closed my eyes.
"No, Elliot. There's no one in my life. We didn't break up because of anyone. We did because we can't agree anymore. Will you give him to me, please?" I motioned for my baby who opened his eyes looking at us as if we were aliens. "What are we going to name him?" I changed the subject.
"Noah." He whispered.
"Noah Elliot Evans. I love it." I smiled softly caressing his cheek. "We will always be best friends, Elliot. That's the best thing.. for Noah. Think about it."
"I won't stop loving you till the day I die even if you stopped loving me." He sighed standing up. "I'm sorry again. You're right, I can't raise a child alone. I have no energy to fight anymore." With that, he kissed Noah, turned to his heel, walked out, and slammed the door shut.
It's over.

"Christina, come change Noah's diaper cause I'm feeding Anna!" I yelled making him cry harder.
God, this is frustrating!
"Chri-"
"I'll do it. She's preparing dinner." Harry sighed stepping in the room. "Shit." He scruched his nose.
"Do it." I shrugged smiling.
"We can switch, you know?"
"She's going to sleep in my arms. I can't get up." I shook my head.
"Dinner's ready!" Christina yelled.
"Coming!" I yelled back walking towards Noah's bed to let Anna sleep in peace.
"You can get up now, I see." Harry rolled his eyes.
"Harry, you're a father. You have to get used to this." I giggled handing him the baby powder.
"Whatever." He rolled his eyes wrapping Noah in his pampers.
"Be gentle." I slapped the back of his head.
"I am." Rolling his eyes, he gave me the poor boy.
"Bell is ringing." I called out.
"I'll get it." Christina shrugged getting up.
"Are you waiting for someone?" I asked Harry.
"No." He shook his head. "Who is it, baby?" He turned to Christina.
"It's Elliot." She smiled walking in with him following.
"Hey, man. Come take a bite." Harry motioned for him to sit down.
"No, I just came to give you this." He handed me a piece of paper, "It's Noah's Birth Certificate."
"Thank you." I nodded. "Sit down, though. Christina prepared a perfect dinner. Don't miss it."
"Uh-"
"I'll get you a plate." She smiled walking to the kitchen.
"I don't want to make you uncomfortable." He cleared his throat. "Not at all. We agreed that we won't ever stop being friends, Elliot. This is totally fine." I shrugged.
"Can I hold him?" He asked.
"Sure. Let's go to daddy." I smiled helping him carry Noah who is giggling like a fool.
This is much better.
I'm much relaxed, now. It's not like I don't like Elliot, anymore. It's just- we can't stay together anymore. It's an unhealthy relationship, but, now, we can enjoy our lives without killing ourselves.
I will always love Elliot, and I will never forget how happy he used to make me, but it's not time for feelings. I must think in a practical way for the sake of Noah.
