Sonic The Hedgehog: Dusted

A Cruel Aftermath

Time is a fragile thing...it can show hero's great victories and even great losses.

In one universe, The mad titan took victory over earths mightiest hero's , destroying half the population of the entire universe.

In another, the blue blur Sonic the hedgehog and his younger counterpart took victory over their arch rival Eggman and stopped his plan to take over all of time.

But in this story, one worlds loss...can also give way to dramatic change in the others.

And that is the story...that is about to begin.

The power that glowed throughout the void was unlike anything anyone had ever seen, the god of time against the blue blur as he was and as he used to be.

Classic and Modern Sonic glowed yellow in their super forms as flew past the time eaters attacks at hyper speed. Despite the best efforts of the two doctor's, they were losing.

Sonic: We've almost got them! Hey me, let me show you the spin ball manoeuvre!

Classic nodded. Super modern Sonic and super classic Sonic flew next to each-other, spinning in a large formation until they rushed forward in a bullet formation.

This time however, The two Eggmen saw the Attack coming. In one last ditch effort of survival, the time eater crossed its arms and most of its cogs in front of its heart to lessen the blow.

The two super's collided with the cogs, the very cracking of the metal sending out pulses that damaged the flow of time around them.

Until finally, The two Sonic's barrelled through the cogs and into the creatures heart!

It screamed out in pain, The two Eggmen putting up their protective domes on their mobiles to shield themselves as the time entity exploded in a burst of white light!

And finally...it was gone.

Sonic reappeared back at his birthday party where this whole mess began, catching Tail's chilli dog as fell from the sky and took a bite.

Sonic: Still warm. Haha, time travel!

His classic counterpart appeared nearby, grinning.

They looked over to the side with a few flashes of light. Sonic's friends appeared from thin air back at the party table like they'd never left. A few of them cheered, some smiled and Shadow just remained silent by a tree.

Knuckles: I'll admit, you weren't half bad Sonic!

Amy got annoyed and shoved Knuckles back into a tree with one hand.

Amy: Half bad? Are you kidding?! He was all great!

Knuckles went into a daze as Sonic nervously looked away. Classic just looked shocked, wondering what his Amy would be like when he met her. Nearby, Tails and his classic counterpart chatted.

Classic Tails: He collects how many? Wow, where does somebody put all those gold rings?

Tails: You know what? I don't know. I keep forgetting to ask.

They spent the next half hour or so chatting and having fun until Sonic went to talk to his younger self alone.

Sonic: It was great teaming up with you. Hope you learned a few tricks that'll help you out in the future. I mean the past. You know what I mean!

Classic sonic pointed at himself and ran into the field, jumping into the air and attempted Modern Sonic's midair dash. He only got two feet before fluttering in the air and landing on his face. He got back up quickly though!
