An ear piercing sound echoed against the walls as Alexis moved her blades together. She packed an amount of blades, just enough to get her by with fun; taking only one gun, a Bauer Automatic, which she put in her bag. As detached as she felt to her targets, Alexander would definitely be one of the more interesting ones.

Entering the kitchen, she prepared herself a light breakfast. Most days, it'd be either a light fruit or drink. Once she felt satisfied, she washed the dishes she had used.

"You're up early," Kaden's voice entered the kitchen.

"I'm always up early," Alexis kept a solemn face.

Once she returned the dishes, Alexis faced Kaden.

"Is there anything you need?" Alexis raised a brow.

"Nope, but I was wondering what exactly are you planning?" Alexis knew what he meant, he was asking about Aaron.

"I guess you'll have to see," Alexis simply said as she threw the bag-containing the things she needed for her job tonight-over her shoulder.

The truth was though-she, herself, wasn't sure what she'd do.

As Alexis drove off, heading for school. She felt herself loosen up. The wind combing through her hair only helped her release the tension left inside of her. It helped, from time to time, taking a drive around the city.

Parking her car, Alexis stepped out to see students beginning to enter the building. Pulling up her hair into a bun and putting on her glasses, Alexis walked into school. She always dressed herself the way she needed, her clothes bordering the stereotypical nerd-look and her attitude as plain as the white on milk.

Today, Alexis planned on watching Aaron-try to catch whatever she could on him. She knew little about him. He was a bad boy, a misfit rebel. His friends' circle established of Declan O'Connor, Axel Harris, and Steele Wilson.

Alexis sat at the corner of the room. It was good that Aaron was in some of her classes, she could keep an eye on him.

"Good morning students, we will have a project soon. I'll be pairing you guys and hopefully, we'll be able to start next week," their teacher announced entering the class.

Students groaned in irritation. No one liked being paired by the teacher, especially Alexis. It was always annoying when they'd eventually have to go to each other's house and Alexis always had to create some excuse. There was also the fact that she was never lucky when it came to partners and hers always either ended up hating her or leaving her to do all the work.

The rest of the day was fine. Alexis-watching Aaron for most of the day-caught a lot about him and his friends. They were unique, in all honesty, each one of them. Each of them seemed to have their own way in taking Alexis's interest.

Declan O'Connor. He's the fist of the group. He seemed to be the one who always preferred his fists rather than brain. Declan had his way. Axel Harris. He's the ego and ladies' man of the group. Albeit each one of them seemed to have their way with the girls, Axel took it upon himself to be with girls more. Steele Wilson. He was the dark one. He was always locked in his own world of isolation. And then there was Aaron. Aaron was the most unpredictable of them. He also looked like the leader of the group. He was quiet, mysterious, hidden.

Soon, like every day, darkness reigned over the sky. Dots of light spread through night. It was almost time for Alexis's date.

"You about to leave?" Kaden called to Alexis.

"I'm leaving, now," Alexis walked down the stairs.

"You have everything for tonight?"

"Yes, I'll be back late. Don't wait up for me."
