Here's to Ash Stymest as Declan! [you'll see later on]

"C'mon, we don't have all day," Z said, tapping his foot.

It was a close fight. Alexis landed some hefty hits on Jacks and Mason but so did they. Everyone watching had his or her eyes wide in shock. No one expected Alexis to last so long.

"Who has the advantage?" Z asked out in the open for anyone to answer.

"Mason and Jacks are strong hits, they're more experienced and they're two," a girl with red hair answered.

"But Alexis is quicker and smarter, she has better footing and hits quick and hard," a guy countered.

The three fighters circled each other. Alexis had to move quickly like the guy said. Presently, it was unclear who would win.

Alexis took in a deep breath. The air stained of copper and steel. Tiny beads of sweat formed on her face causing her hair to stick to her forehead. She felt herself relax with her breathing. Jacks and Mason weren't any different. Both guys were tense and flustered.

Mason moved towards Alexis trying to go on the offensive. Alexis ducked his movement but Jacks caught that and instantly had her on the ground. Rolling to the side, Alexis got up in time to land a kick at Mason. Just as Jacks was about to attack, Alexis caught his leg as swept him down to the ground.

"Enough," the way Z said it was low but stern. It was frightening the way he held so much power in his voice.

The three stopped, getting up on their feet. They all felt exhausted. It seemed like hours of fighting. Alexis squeezed her eyes closed; she needed a moment to regain herself. Mason and Jacks did the same.

Z stood, arms crossed. He held no emotion in his face. The crowd held their voices in anticipation. For a moment, it was just still quietness. All waited for Z's say-so.

"Good," Z approved with a nod and Kaden didn't miss the small smile tugging at the corner of his lips.

The crowd burst into cheers. No one won, that was clear but it was a great fight. All three were congratulated. A few people gave Alexis pats on the backs and complimenting words, the same for the other two.

"You fought great!" Jacks told Alexis once he reached her through the crowd.

"I had a good teacher," Alexis smiled, quickly glancing at Kaden whom was talking to a few people.

"You definitely bruised Mason's ego," he said glancing back at Mason held a blank face as he received people's praises.

"Well, he needed a beating."

"Alexis, you are definitely something," he complimented.

Alexis replied with a soft laugh.

"Hey, Alexis, you did great!" Kaden said appearing out of the crowd.

"Thanks, Kaden," Alexis said as Kaden grabbed her into a hug.

"I thought you were a goner," he laughed.

From the side, Jacks left the two. It was nothing to Alexis but she had wished he rather not. She brushed the feeling off as she lived in the moment. Alexis went to the side of the room where she found a bunch of towels. Grabbing one, she wiped her sweat off.

"That was a good fight," turning around, Alexis found Mason.

"Are you complimenting me?" Alexis asked, arms crossed.

"Yeah, look, I think we got off on the wrong foot," he held a hand out.

Alexis eyed the hand for a moment. She was never a person to hold little grudges. She was always a nice girl—that was how her parents had raised her.
