"Why are you here?" Aaron asked, alarmed.

"I'm with some friends...they joined the fight," Alexis replied smoothly.

"Really? Declan fought too-some smug guy beat him," Aaron stated clearly annoyed. Alexis could've scoffed.

"Where are they?" she looked around.

"They're icing up his bruises, not much, though. Right there," he pointed at the near corner of the bar. Declan was seated while Steele and Axel were talking to him.

"How is he?"

"He's tough, he can take a hit," Aaron shrugged. "Who are you with?"

Just that time, Jacks called out to Alexis, handing her a soda.

"Alexis, who's this?" Jacks asked, brows rose.

Aaron eyed him up as if assessing a prey. "I'm Aaron," he stared Jacks down.

"Jacks, nice to meet you, mate," Jacks shook his hand, indifferent to Aaron's stern watch.

"Well, we were about to leave but Mason and I can wait, if you'd like," Jacks motioned to Mason who was getting comfy with Violet.

"No, let's go. It's getting boring anyway," Alexis said.

"Hey, saw you fight back there. Nice job," Aaron complimented Jacks but there was no real credit-it was all just courtesy.

"Thanks. Nice meeting you, again," he nodded. "Let's get out of here," Jacks slung his arm over Alexis's shoulders.

"Bye, Aaron," Alexis chirped as she walked away with Jacks.

Alexis left the bar accompanied by her friends. She'd take note of this bar; it was a good place to let off some steam.

Aaron walked back to his friends who stayed in the corner.

"Alexis was here," he stated.

"Where?" Axel looked around.

"You just missed her. She left with some friend of hers," Aaron said.

"Why was she here, anyway?" Declan asked, still irritated that he got beaten up.

"Her friend fought, he was the last fight-Jacks, I think," he replied.

"Why was she here with him?" Axel asked, curious.

"Don't know, he could've been her boyfriend," Aaron shrugged.

"I thought she didn't have one," Axel said.

"You always can ask her on Monday," Steele stated, blankly.

"Whatever, let's go. I'm getting tired of this place; especially since you don't fight anymore," Declan stood.

"Maybe another time," Steele replied.

Alexis entered her penthouse, switching the lights on in the process. Kaden still wasn't there; she didn't plan on waiting for him. She went to her bathroom and stripped herself of her clothes and got in the shower. It was a quick shower, the cold

She looked at herself in the mirror. For a moment, she stared straight through her eyes-she didn't see herself. A stranger stood where her reflection should've been. Alexis, for years, was always taught what to do. Staring at herself, she couldn't see anyone she knew. Bruises, scars stained her body-her life. She didn't know who she was, not anymore.

"Alexis?" her mother called. "Alexis...where are you?"

Alexis giggled as she watched her mother from under the bed.
