Summary: you, being best friends with Robin and Julian, had been playing truth or dare and done something particularly stupid, Pat is extremely worried and realises his feelings for you

So usually I wouldn't write something like this but the person that asked seemed to really love Pat, so I decided to write this for them

You were best friends with Robin and Julian, tho you were much quieter than the two, Julian was usually the ring leader of what went on with the three of you

But one day you were all playing truth or dare, childish in your opinion, but he insisted it would be fun

' truth or dare y/n?'

You sighed and said ' dare.' From your seat on the chair

' ooh fun! Hm... I dare you... to... ... I dare you to jump from Fannys window, without screaming ' he said with a wicked grin, obviously he didn't actually expect you to do something so dangerous, he expected you to say no

You stared at him for a second in shock, looking at his face, seeing the smirk before saying, ' ok then'

Pat who had also been in the room looked over at you in shock and worry and said ' I- is that really a good idea y/n?'

' sure! Why not? I'm already dead! What more could happen?'

Pat bit his thumb nail with worry but nodded, not wanting to tell you what to do

He didn't know why he was so worried, he supposed he would be if it was anyone else... but something inside him was telling him that there was a reason he was so worried

He shook his head and said ' I suppose... but be careful! '

The four of you went up to Fanny's window, where captain had been relaxing ' what on earth is going on?! This is my Bally room! '

' oh hush you old walrus ' Julian chuckled

' how DARE you! ... wait... what's going on.... Patrick?'

' uh.. uhm... well... Julian dared y/n to jump out the window... and not scream '

' oh... how silly, please tell me you don't plan to y/n' captain said, raising an eyebrow, he had come to see you as a sister, he didn't exactly want anything to happen to you...

' .. actually I do ' you said quietly, glancing at a grinning Julian, who still expected you to chicken out

'how ridiculous' captain muttered

You walked up to the window and took a breath before stepping out silently and falling

' Y/N!!! ' Pat shouted

You woke up after a minute or so to Julian, Robin and Pat all stood round you

' y/n! I didn't expect you to actually do it!' Julian said, looking worried but also impressed

' yeah well, a dares a dare ' you chuckled

Pat glared at Julian and said ' are you alright y/n?! You could have been hurt! Or or-'

You sighed and said ' Pat, why're you so worried, I'm ok!'

Julian and Robin clearly got the idea and walked away to go do god knows what

Pat held out his hand to help you up, and sighed ' y/n... I.. I care so much because... well... I am starting to have feelings for you... and those feelings really confused me... I didn't even realise until you jumped '

Your eyes widened, you hadn't expected Pat to say that

You had liked Pat for years! And now he said this?! Wow

' I- I'm so sorry I. I'll just go ' Pat stuttered

' no wait! Pat ' you said, louder than you would usually talk

He looked at you and raised an eyebrow

' I- ...' you sighed to pluck up your courage and said ' I have feelings for you too... I have for years'

Pat looked shocked ' really? Me? '

' yes! You! You're kind, funny, your planning is pristine and you're amazing ' you said, if you could blush, you would

And so would Pat

' oh... thank you, but you're kind funny and amazing too, among other things ' he said with a shy smile

You grinned and said ' thank you... but what now?'

' I- it's up to you ' he said

' w-well. We could take it slow... and see how it goes from there ' you said, not liking being put on the spot

Pat nodded and said ' I'd like that'

You nodded and gave him a smile, this was going to be the start of something beautiful
