Description: you and captain are fairly similar, that's why you get on so well!

Requested by: Harry_10thDoctor

So, y/n is Autistic for this one shot, if that is a problem for anyone, please leave because I have witnessed how awful people can be about neurodivergent people and I do not want that energy here, it's a safe space.

I really hope this is alright, I found myself asking my brother a lot of questions of about textures and sounds as he is diagnosed with Autism so hopefully this will be all correct!

Uhm, because of something's I learned about sensory issues, y/n does have fairly long ( not as in like shoulder or even neck length) hair, it'll make sense soon 👌

Y/n is He/him

Enjoy!

When you had died, you had really struggled with the transition and difference in environment, however Captain had been there for you and helped you get used to the house and its inhabitants.

You were (however tall you are), with fluffy hair and ( other contributes about you). Fanny constantly commented that your hair should be at least styled however you had hated even combing it, never mind styling it.

See your parents always INSISTED you shaved your head as a boy, and they always said that boys with long hair were scruffy.

However due to your sensory issues, it literally hurt for them to shave your head.

So when you moved out you stopped doing what they said, you initially stop cutting your hair at all, but it became a problem 1 because you hated the feeling of a brush, and 2 because you hated the feeling of your hair against the back of your neck.

So you settled for allowing your best friend to cut it with scissors ( they were always gentle thought it still hurt sometimes).

Captain always stood up for you when Fanny would comment about your hair... and posture and anything else she could nitpick.

'Now Fanny, that's quite enough'

' no! Captain, a gentleman should have his hair shaved or styled! It's completely ridiculous to believe otherwise!'

' Fanny! I said enough, leave him alone, he's dead now, not much he can do is there?' Captain would often snap.

You hated being around Fanny most of the time anyway, she was always so loud, not that you couldn't deal with louder people, like kitty, but she was loud in a confrontational way, one that partly reminded you of your mother, and partly became rather grating to hear.

Captain always understood you, he was very similar to you in a few ways, you both loved routine, that's why you would go with him for his morning walk, though once or twice a week you would go for a run ( always preplanned of course between you)

Where Captain had his little 'quirks' as Pat called them, like bouncing on his heels, or rubbing his hand on his swagger stick, or fixing his tie, you would rub your hands together quite often, and tap your foot and sometimes - usually when more excite- make small noises.

These were just what made you, you.

All the ghosts loved you for you... especially Captain.

One day you had been spending the day with Captain ( like most days), when you and Captain saw Alison and Mike bringing a load of shopping bags and bottles into the house, so of course the two of you went to investigate.
