We ran towards the forest. We ran for about ten minutes. Ein stopped in the middle of the forest.

    "Here it is!" He announced.

    I looked around, confused.

Ein laughed and pressed a knot in a tree. It slid backward, and revealed a secret stairway. I gasped. Ein smiled and walked down. I followed. It was like a house!

The walls in the first room were a pale pink. The next room was obviously a kitchen. It had light blue walls, and some white tiling.

"What's crazy is that this place has electricity!" Ein told me.

"So we can stay here for days?!"

"If you want to. We can sneak into your house, and get some clothes. I know I'm going to stay here for about a week, because my parents are out of town. I would really appreciate it if you stayed."

    I smiled.

    "I would love to!"

He smiled. He showed me the rest of the house. It was a really nice house.

The only downside was that there was only one bedroom, and only one bed.

"So, the real question is, do you want to sleep with me?" Ein asked me.

    My face turned red.

"I can sleep on the couch if you don't want to!" he said quickly, seeing my red face.

"No! It's okay! I'll sleep wherever you want me to. It's your place after all. Now about sneaking into my house..."

Ein was relieved with the subject change. We planned how to get into my place. We decided that I would sneak in, and grab all the clothes, and Ein would make sure my mom was trapped in her room until I was done.

We walked to my house. It only took about five minutes. I snuck inside.

My mom was in her room, singing about love, and other gross stuff. Ein backed against her door, so she couldn't open it unless he got out of the way. I grabbed my bag and stuffed a bunch of stuff inside.

"Hey Ein? Is there internet at your base?" I called him.

"Eli? Is that you?" I heard mom say.

Then I heard her trying to shove open the door.

"There is!" Ein replied, grunting a little as my mom shoved.

"Get out of the way!" she yelled.

"No, I can't." Ein said to her.

    "You!" Mom snarled.

I heard her say many, many, insulting swear words to Ein, but he ignored her.

I put my laptop into my bag and slung it over my shoulder.

"Ein, let her loose!" Ein ran after me, and we ran all the way back to Ein's base.

"Your mom is strong. She almost got through!" Ein told me.

"Well, I'm glad that you're strong, so you could keep her contained."

Ein blushed. He led me over to a closet.

"You can put your stuff in here." he told me.

I did, and he asked if we could watch a movie. I nodded, and we sat down on the couch.

"What do you want to watch?" he asked.

    "Anything. I don't really care."

He put on a horror movie. We watched the whole movie. At one point there was a jump scare, and Ein screamed. I just laughed. He blushed, embarrassed.

"It's okay to jump, or scream. I just think it's a little funny." I told him.

When the movie was over, I stood up and yawned.

"That was not a horror movie." I said.

    Ein stared at me.

"How is that not a horror movie?!" he asked me.

"Oh this is nothing compared to what my mom used to force me to watch. This is a little kids movie."

He just stared at me in horror.

"So, where am I sleeping?" I asked him, changing the subject.

    "Wherever you want." he said.

"Although it would be nice to sleep with you..." he mumbled very quietly.

If I wasn't a werewolf, I wouldn't have heard it. I walked into the kitchen to grab a snack. I got out some sugar cookies.

"Eli, I'm going to bed! See ya in the morning!" I heard Ein yell into the kitchen.

When I finished my cookies, I walked into the bedroom. Ein was laying on his side, with his back to me. I smiled.

Walking over to the closet, I grabbed some PJ's from the closet, trying to be quiet. I changed in the bathroom, and went back into the bedroom.

I sat down on the bed, looking around the room. It had blue walls, and some soft carpet. The closet had mirrors on the doors. The bed started shaking. I turned to see Ein curling himself into a ball, shivering.

I took a thick blanket from the floor, and covered him up. I laid down next to him. Ein stopped shaking, but when I touched his arm, it was icy.

So I decided to summon all my saddest and angriest memories. Once I did, I felt rage and sorrow over powering me. I felt my arm. It was very warm. Then I held Ein, and he snuggled into me. I smiled a little, trying not to be glad he was getting warm.

My job was to stay as sad and upset as I could all night. That way, I could keep Ein warm. I tried to stay awake as long as I could, but eventually I got tired, and drifted off to sleep.
