I woke up to someone yelling.

"You guys fell asleep?! Why?!"

Mark stood in the doorway, glaring coldly at me. Ein moved beside me, groaning.

"You two idiots! You're lucky I got up early to come get you before Ethan woke up!" Mark yelled.

"Look, it isn't my fault! Ein wanted to stay for a bit, and I didn't mean to fall asleep!" I retorted.

Mark frowned, leaving the room.

"Get up and let's get going!" he said over his shoulder.

I slid off the bed, but Ein grabbed my hand.

"Stay."

"No Ein! We have to get back to the other bunker!" I said, pulling him off the bed.

He whined, so I gave him a quick kiss on the cheek.

"You missed," he said in a husky morning voice.

"No, I didn't. Let's get back to the other bunker now."

He sighed, so I pulled him out of our room, up the stairs and outside. From there, I continued to pull him through the forest to our old home. When we entered, Mark made a 'shhh' sound and pointed to the living room.

Ethan was laying on the couch, his face pressed into the pillow.

Mark held up Ethan's phone, handing it to me then walking into Ein and I's bedroom.

"Text his friends. Tell them when the party is," he whispered.

Ein snatched the phone and turned it on, immediately going to the contacts.

"I'm not letting that bast-"

I clamped my hand over his mouth to stop him from completing that sentence. He licked my hand, but I didn't remove it. We really need a swear jar...

He clicked into Liam's contact. I read over his shoulder as he wrote.

Ein/Ethan- Look, Ethan's bday party is today at 1. Meet Mark, Ethan's cousin, Eli, Ethan's sister, and myself at the edge of the forest in Phoenix Drop at 12:30

Liam- You didn't say how your related to Ethan

Ein- It doesn't matter!

Liam- Fine. I'll be there. There gonna be girls? Hot ones?

Ein- No. Anyone who knows Ethan and is nice to him, just bring them too

Liam- Why can't you do that?

Ein- Cause I'm not in Ethan's friend group idiot!

Liam- So there are no hot girls?

Ein- NO!

"I'm gonna be there! Are you saying I'm not hot?!" I said.

"I think you're the hottest girl to ever walk the earth, but if I told him that he would flirt with you and I don't want that," Ein said, holding the phone out of my reach even though I wasn't making any attempts to take it.

"Oh..."

"Be quiet! Ethan's gonna wake up!" Mark hissed.

Ein texted Ethan's other friends, but I didn't really pay attention to what he was writing. Instead, I just watched Ein's face contort in frustration as he texted all of Ethan's friends.

"Stupid people..." he muttered.

I giggled, leaving the room to go make Ethan breakfast. Pretty soon the scent of bacon and eggs wafted into the living room. A few minutes later Ethan came running into the kitchen, eyes locked on the stove where a pan with bacon sizzled. A smaller pan held a single portion of scrambled eggs.
