"I think the entire thing is damn ass dumb! I don't get why Stefanie can work BOTH jobs, and I have to suffer! I still don't get it!" Frankie says venting to Callie as the two were already in bed.
It had been a week since the family meeting and Frankie was still going on about how unfair it was. "I'm so pissed at Mama Dukes! She can sleep alone forever for all I care! And COREY! He gets a brand new WALKMAN! And how the hell did they find out?????" She sits up in bed now as she looks at Callie. "That's what I wanna know! Who fucking ratted on me!"
"Shhh. Don't wake Mocha. Yes, but he has to pay for it, Franks. And you weren't honest with Moms. Plus, do you really have to ask how they knew? Mom's a cop! She literally knows like EVERYTHING." Callie says as she's looking over the photos she took earlier that week on her bed as Stefanie walks back in the room with two crackers in her hand. It was well past one in the morning as Frankie rolls her eyes at the girl whom she was so irritated with for telling on her.
"When are you gonna stop being mad at me, Frankie? I said I was sorry."
"Oh yeah I bet you are. You did what a child would do! Rat me out like we're 5! You get to keep your little side hustle because you're Mama Dukes' like prized gem." Frankie snaps as she glares at the girl.
"That's not true! She yells at me too. When she found out I lied about college she scolded me forever! You have no idea how hard she was on me. I don't have it so easy you know, either. It may look like it from the outside, but she's just as hard on me as you."
"PLEASSSSSSE. You are Mama Dukes' little PET! Always were and always will be! So I'll just call you PET! AND yelling at you doesn't fucking count! Ooooooo, she yelled at you! Sooooo scary and what a punishment!!!!!!" Frankie pretend bites her nails pretending to be scared.
"WHATEVER FRANKIE! I'm Godmom's pet! And I didn't rat you out about smoking. I never said a thing!" Stefanie folds her arms in front of her as Frankie snorts.
"Because you smoke too, dumbo!" Frankie says standing up now and getting in the girl's face as Callie looks up at both girls shaking her head. "And I could have told her what a pot head you are smoking and doping behind your ice cream parlor, and that you steal her smokes!"
"I am not!!! It relaxes my nerves! And I don't do dope. So, let's get that straight right now!!!!! And you steal her smokes too, and you smoke pot too! Pot meet kettle!" Stefanie waves her finger in the air as Frankie steps towards her.
"Guys! If you want Mocha to come in here keep yelling by all means? I mean hello!!!!!" Callie says as both girls look at her furious beyond words. "And neither of you should be smoking or stealing Mom's cigarettes much less pot. Are you both crazy? Mom's a cop, and you shouldn't be doing that. What is wrong with you both?" Callie reprimands as Stefanie lets out a sigh and pulls her long blue braids up. She had decided to keep the blue hair and add her long braids back into it. It was somewhat out there, but she loved them because it made her look less and less like Tess.
"Well, we can't all be perfect like you, Cals." Frankie says as Callie looks at her narrowing her eyes.
"Don't. Don't even go there, Franks. You both dug your own holes, and you have to deal with the consequences." She says as Jude walks into the room and grabs Frankie's hand.
"Buddy, what are you doing up? It's super late."
"Window stuck. Corey is outside. Thunder and lightning now, and dangerous," he says as everyone looks at him wondering what he's saying.
"What?" Frankie asks confused as all three girls quietly sneak into Corey and Jude's room to see the boy on the other side of the window.
Callie shakes her head as she shuts the door quietly and tries to yank the window open. "Crap, it's stuck."
