Going Back

"Well she went over there all hot headed, Michael. Because you know I can't get through to her." Sharon whispers as he had just dropped Corey off and was standing outside of Sharon's RV. "You know how she is and how she gets and then it's done. The only person she listens to is you. And Lena, but Lena is in this and knowing her, she's hot under the collar, too."

"Man, this doesn't sound like Tess. I'm baffled, Sharon. She said all of that?" Mike shakes his head in disbelief as he looks back at the house then back to Sharon.

"She did, and well, I don't know her like you, all, do, but it seems she made the letters all centered around my daughter. She's obsessed and infatuated with her, and she hates me and Lena. I don't know, I never did a damm thing to that girl. What do you think is going on?" Sharon asks as she lights a smoke now and Mike is scratching his head for none of it makes sense to him. Not one bit for sure he knew Tess had been off her rocker lately but this was far beyond anything he imagined.

"Wellllll, I'm not sure. Stef, Lena and Julius would know if it's from her. It's her handwriting?"

"Oh, I don't know that, baby. I'm not familiar."

"She never has given any indication that she hated Lena that badly, Sharon, and she sure as hell never has mentioned you that I know of except all of us being confused that you changed like you have," he laughs now as Sharon puffs her smoke. "But aside from that I never saw any hatred."

"Mm, well, I'm going to get to the bottom of this if it's the last thing I do, Michael. I'm going to call my son, Lewis, in San Fran and see if he can give me some pointers. I don't want to involve you too much if I can help it, Michael. You're a good man, and I know that you and Callie are headed out on your trip shortly. Plus, you're too close to this."

"What could Lewis possibly do, Sharon? I'd say the best thing you could do is head over to her house and tell her verbally this stops now or you'll be taking things to a legal level. I can go with you if you wanted," Mike retorts as Sharon shakes her head.

"That's just it. I don't want you involved, okay? Just trust me. Hell, I'll even call Frank, Sr! I'm not too good to ask for help, much like my daughter, but I do NOT want that woman near any of my family right now much less her own daughter! Good thing Stefanie is 18 because she can tell that cunt to leave her the hell alone! But even if she wasn't I'd take that girl myself." Sharon tosses her smoke on the ground now as she steps on it before patting Mike's arm. She was a fierce one always had been but it was coming out more and more.

"You're a good man, Michael, and I'm thankful that Stefanie and Lena have you here as a support. These kids love you too. Thank you for helping with Corey, baby."

"Oh, no problem, Sharon. Glad to help, but um, I need to head on out now. Date night with my girl," he grins as Sharon smiles before hugging him warmly.

"You'll always be my son, baby, and I hope this girl of yours treats you well."

"She does, Sharon. She really does," he smiles as he squeezes her hand before heading to his car.

Sharon sighs deeply now before heading inside her RV, for she felt like she should call Lewis sooner rather than later, and maybe, she'd even call Frank, Sr.

LENA POV

I don't even realize it is almost six in the evening as I paint one last brush stroke on my large canvas. Fortunately it did seem to calm my mind and so-called black soul down for I needed that before I headed back to Stef's to eat dinner with the kids. Stef and I planned on talking to Corey tonight as well about his court date and regardless of how angry I was at her, I knew we needed to do that.
