I woke up earlier than usual the next day and immediately went outside. I shifted and ran through the woods letting myself be free from people and stupid lycans. Although I now know that I am one, I still find them more infuriating than regular people. They think they are so hot. They think that everyone should do as they say, well I won't have it. As soon as I can, I'm going back home to be away from those problem causing lycans. If anything I can give Elder Knight my home number for further contact. I only just thought of it because I normally have no need for it. I stop at the creek and lay down. I stare at the water and just focus on staying calm. That Irish Lycan will get a piece of me if he doesn't leave me alone. I watched the steady flow of water until the sun was up, then I stood up and stretched. I suddenly heard the sound of cars coming up the driveway and hurried back to the house. I quickly shifted and slipped my clothes on before running into the back of the house. I glanced through the front windows and saw Daniel and a few of the lycans including the Irish one. I scowled before walking upstairs and knocked on Nadia's bedroom door.
"Come in." Peter said sounding tired.
I opened the door and smirked. Nadia was still sound asleep and took up the majority of the bed.
"Daniel is here with some of the guard." I say and look at Peter.
"Alright." He says.
I leave their room and go to mine. I quickly jump into the shower, that way if Daniel wants to talk to me, he can't. I hear Peter groan as he walks down the stairs and a faint knock on the front door. I wash my hair, making sure there was no dirt from this morning left and rinse off. I hear a knock just as I turn the water off.
"Aiyana, Alpha Daniel wants to talk to you." Peter's voice sounded strange.
I could tell he was nervous. Something about the Guard put people in a jumpy attitude.
"Tell him I'm busy." I say and wrap a towel around my body.
"Aiyana please be nice." He pleaded.
I sighed. "Fine. Tell him to give me a minute."
"Okay." He said and I heard him walk away.
I kept myself calm while drying off and put on some fresh clothing. Just a blue shirt and jean shorts were comfy enough. I rubbed my hair with my towel one last time before leaving the room and stopping at the top of the stairs. I could hear Daniel talking and I glanced into Nadia's room to find her gone. I could hear at least six adult heartbeats and baby Mina's downstairs. I took a deep breath before walking down the stair and stopping at the landing. I looked at everyone and cleared my throat. Daniel was standing next to Peter and Nadia and the other three were behind them.
"What do you want?" I asked.
Daniel smirked. "It's not me that's here for you." He said smugly. "This is Aiyana Keating. Aiyana, this is Alpha Cade, his third in command Ian and fourth in command Nicolai."
Ian, the Irish guy scowled at me and I smirked.
"Wipe that smirk off your face." Ian said in a commanding voice.
A hand was placed on Ian's shoulder and he looked over. That's when I stopped breathing. The man who placed his hand on Ian came into view and he looked me in the eyes. He was as tall as Ian, maybe taller...probably 6'1. His dark hair was disheveled and he had a light stubble across his jaw. His jaw line was hard and perfect. Everything about him was perfect. He wore dark denim jeans and black shoes. He wore a dark green long sleeve that fit him loosely but still let you know that he worked out. Then his eyes. They were dark green and staring right into mine. We continued to stare at each other confused and at a loss for words. Why couldn't I speak? Why couldn't I move? The others stared at us until Nadia gasped slightly.
