After meeting with Daniel and Moira, we decided it was best to stay in the pack house for the time being. We caught up with the rest of the guard and made plans for the next defense. Nicolai and a few others were in charge of guarding Huxley's room. He obviously wasn't  included in the planning process. Cade and I were sitting in our room feeling exhausted. It was past two in the morning. We were laying in bed, talking quietly.

"Do you think its weird...how he looked so scared?" I ask looking at Cade.

He looked confused.

"Theodore looked terrified when he saw Huxley."

"Well, Huxley is a horrible person." Cade shrugs. "He did many terrible things...he's a terrifying person."

"I feel like it was deeper than that."

"I wouldn't think too much about it." He says kissing my forehead. "We need to get some sleep...come here."

I scooted closer and he wrapped his arms around me. We fell asleep pretty quickly. We were woken up as soon as the sun came up. Moira burst into our room.

"Hurry! Get up!" She yelled and we both jolted in bed. "The rogues are back."

She rushed out of the room while we rushed to get ready. Soon we joined the others downstairs.

"It's happening again." Daniel says as we walk into the room. "They've surrounded the borders."

"Has he been spotted?" Cade asks.

"No." Daniel shakes his head. "It's just like before...they're just waiting."

Huxley is looking out the window of the conference room with Nicolai standing close to him.

"What do we do then?" I ask looking at everyone.

"All we can do is wait until he shows himself." Daniel shrugs.

I look at Huxley. "How long do you think he'll make us wait?"

He looks at me in the reflection of the window. "Not long."

We tried to relax. We ate breakfast nervously and came back into the conference room to wait. We waited until after noon before movement was noticed. We gathered outside the packhouse with Daniel, Moira, Yuri, Stephan, members and the Guard, Apa, Knight, and Huxley.

"Ian said that there are lycans in the southern clearing." Cade says.

"Then let's head that way." Daniel says.

The angels walk away from us and their wings emerge. I watch in amazement. I had only felt my wings come out, but watching them was amazing. They were beautiful. We couldn't let Huxley shift so Cade, Knight and I climbed into the car with him in tow. Daniel shifted and took off into the woods. Cade sped through the town until we took off down a dirt road. We parked at the edge of the woods and gathered outside the car. Sure enough, there were three lycans standing on the other side of the clearing. I recognized them from when I was with Theo. Frank was the tallest among them with his dark green eyes locked on us. His dark skin made him stand out from everyone else. He was from the south somewhere and we found him while traveling. He was very muscular and scars littered his skin. Then there was Bonnie. Her long red hair was braided back away from her pale, freckled face. Her blue eyes could be seen from here. She was blind...and she practiced witchcraft. I remember being amazed at the magic she could do and thinking about it now, I was beginning to get worried. While Frank was only in loose pants, Bonnie has on a tank top and shorts. And lastly there was Henry. His shoulder length dirty blond hair was blowing in the wind. His hazel eyes narrowed at us. He was just as muscular as Frank. He was white but tan and had a stable on his jaw.
