It has been two weeks since the attack. Cade and I had gone back up to the cabin and we brought back some stuff that I wanted to keep. Peter and Mina moved into the pack house since Peter's duties had doubled since the attack. Alpha Daniel made me an official pack member in the last meeting and I was living in Peter's cabin. It didn't feel like home though. It was so empty. The other day while at training Cade made me a proposition.
"Move in with me." He said slightly out of breath.
This took me by surprise as we had just spent the afternoon sparring.
"What?" I ask looking at him suddenly. I relaxed my stance.
"I don't like that you're staying in that cabin all alone." He said frowning. "I want you to move in with me."
"But what about the guard?"
"Some of them have moved into the pack house so if you want your own room-" He started looking a little irritated.
"No I just mean...won't they make fun?" I smirked. "I mean right now they have to deal with you talking about me all of the time...but if move in?"
"Shut up." He rolled his eyes, smiled, and threw a towel at me.
I caught it and laughed.
"So is that a yes?" He asked looking at me expectantly.
I frowned and crossed my arms. "I just don't know if I'm ready for that Cade..." I let my voice be low and unsure.
He frowned but tried to hide it. "Alright."
I watched him and saw that he was upset by my answer. I smiled and threw the towel at him. It hit him in the face and he narrowed his eyes at me.
"I'm just kidding." I say and walk over to him. "Yes...I will move in with you."
He smiles and pulls me into a hug. "You are getting good with the jokes." He mumbled and kisses my forehead.
"You're just too easy." I smirk and kiss him on the lips before pulling away.
He shook his head but a big smile spread across his face.

I sat on the edge of the bed and watched through the cracked door as Cade got ready for the day. We still hadn't mated yet, but we were getting close. It had been a few nights since I moved in but training had us both exhausted. I watched intently as he passed back and forth in front of the door. First with just a towel, then I got a flash of his butt which made me blush and look away like a young school girl. Then I looked back. He put jeans on and just as he grabbed his shirt, he noticed me watching. I looked away and heard an amused chuckle from the bathroom. I ignored it and lay back on the bed. I heard the door open but didn't look. I knew my cheeks were red and I didn't want him to see. I felt him grab my hands and the next thing I knew, I was staring at his bare chest.
"Cade-" I stammered and my cheeks burned brighter.
He smirked. "Were you watching me?" He wrapped one arm around my waist as he stood between my legs and the other cupped my chin so that I was looking him in the eye.
"M-Maybe." I stuttered and my eyes widened.
What the hell was wrong with me?
"So you're allowed to watch me but I'm not allowed to watch you?" His voice was low and borderline husky. "That doesn't exactly seem fair."
He kissed me softly and I melted into his touch. One of my hands traveled to the nape of his neck and grabbed his hair while the other stayed on his chest. Instinctively my legs wrapped around his waist and he growled. He pulled away looking flustered.
