Earlier I came downstairs after being up in my room for so long and Addison ended up seeing me, dad wasn't home and I was curious to find out where he was, I never heard him left the house either..

Addison: oh he's going to be out for awhile getting stuff, don't know for what though, he never told me

Addison: come in my room, I have a surprise for you!

I went in Addison's room and just sat on her bed while she went and get the surprise, I like her room, it's neat, organized and big, she had a small makeup table with makeup from her own brand, they look nice! I wish I could wear some but I'm too young, I'm only 8, maybe when I'm a teenager or something... I don't know but Addison came out with a bag for me to open
Addison: okay here! *gives the bag to Laurel*

I opened the bag and saw a invite to a father daughter dance event at my school for all the girls in the school! I really want to go to this! It looks so fun! I took a look at the invitation and read what there is on here.

We went to a dress store to see what type of dresses there and there were a bunch that I liked but when I tried it on it didn't feel nice, I kept on trying some until I finally found one, it was a rose gold dress with lace at the top, it looked so pretty so I tried it on and it fitted good and I was comfortable, it wasn't too long either!
Addison: what do you think of this one? This is like the 5th or 6th dress you tried on already, do you like it? Does it fit good?
*Laurel looks in the mirror* I like it, it fits good, it's comfortable and it's not too long
Addison: you wanna get it then?
Yes please!
Addison: alrighty then
We got the dress and went to the shoe store to see what shoes that would fit me and what would match the dress, there was a lot that was both and it was hard to choose. I ended up going with flats since I can't walk in heels and they are really nice!
How about these flats? They're gold like my dress!
Addison: I like it! But the question is, are you going to be comfortable walking in it the whole night? Try walking back and forth and see if your comfortable in it
*laurel walks back and forth* yeah I feel fine!
Addison: okay, is this comfortable for you?

Okay then let's go get it!
We got our stuff and headed back home since Addison had more surprises for me before I got changed, the dance was gonna start in a few hours but it's not like we were going to go there on time.
Addison: get your dress on first before I give you the surprises

I excitedly went to my room and changed into my dress and put my shoes on and went back in Addison's room so she could get started on my hair! She curled my hair and gave me the surprises while she curled my hair
