Hi! I'm Laurel! i'm turning 8 years old today and i wish i have a mom and dad for my birthday, it's kinda lonely here, my only friend is my care taker, Sheena. All of the friend's i have are adopted, nobody want's to adopt me and i really want to have a parent someday but i don't think it's going to happen. my care taker Sheena got me a tiktok account and ever since i got it, i ended up having a celebrity crush on this guy Name Noah Beck, he doesn't know i existed but it's fine, i find him more as another friend tho... just imaginary i guess.
Sheena: Hey Laurel! Happy Birthday!!
Laurel: *sighs* Thanks
Sheena: what's wrong?
Laurel: i just wish someone will adopt me, i'm lonely here and it's not fun always hanging out by myself.
Sheena: i'm sure someone will want to adopt you soon! you just have to keep your hopes up!
Laurel: i know... you always say that!
Sheena: That's because someone will!

I went to my room and put on the top that Ms. Sheena gave me with a black pair of leggings and i like it! i think i found my new favorite top! i hope the surprise is having a family! Anyways when i came back from my room, i see Ms. Sheena standing there with a smile on her face.
Laurel: what's the smile on your face?
Sheena: i have a surprise for you!
Laurel: oh okay, what is it?
Sheena: well *brings cake* make a wish first! and close your eyes!
