I can't tell if I'm unwell
because of a heavy heart
weighed down by what the ears
have had to hear.
I can't tell if I'm unwell
from over consumption
of a lovingly prepared meal
and a stressful day.
I can't tell if I'm unwell
so I'll do just as the doctor ordered:
go for this test,
insurance "should" cover it.
I can't tell if I'm unwell
so I'll just presume I am;
water for the body
and tea for the soul.
