God sent you angels,
and through your beliefs
you made them stranger. You were in danger,
He made it brief.
God sent you angels. You ignored your rough nature,
causing them unjustified grief:
you made them strangers. With the stubborn remainder
you prayed for relief.
God sent you angels.Pointed, painful glacier,
of your own hope you were the thief.
You made them strangers.Their wings you've mangled,
do you see what you've achieved?
God sent you angelsand you made them strangers.
