burning for knowledge,
would you set yourself afire
if it meant you had a brain?
Man of Tin,
yearning for a beating heart
yet proud of your untiring state;
would you let pride stop your pulse?
Dandy-Lion,
craving a badge of courage,
it is not cowardice you own;
when will you ditch your self-doubt?
Wizard of Oz,
coveting a position of prominence so
passionately that you'd cast
illusions on all, even yourself?
Dorothy Gale,
longing for home
only after having lost it...
