Kristen's POV:

I looked at my face in the bathroom mirror, trying to process the intensity of emotions that had just overcome me. These upcoming weeks would be fun, I thought, if it continued like this. I tried to recall all of the advice my therapists had given me over the years about how to deal with these kinds of situations. After another minute, I was ready to rejoin the party. I exited the restrooms just to find HIM waiting in front of the elevators. Oh gee.... I didnt know what to do. I decided to face the other way and just pass him quickly but of course - he totally caught me: "Kristen?"
"Oh! H-hey Rob",  I stammered, "Didn't notice you over there....", I added.
"Nope. Your inability to lie definitely hasn't improved over the years" - Rob smiled at me and my breath hitched for a second.
I blushed and decided to quit our stupid game for a minute. "Well I guess the hotel staff has a great taste in music, huh?" I winked at him and he beamed at me knowingly.
"I was heading to my room just now, what about you?", he asked.
"Well, I suppose sleep doesn't sound too bad, after all our schedule is pretty tight. Which floor are you on?", I asked.
"5D", he replied.
"I guess we're neighbors then", I smiled shyly, "My room is 5C."
The elevator ride was silent, it felt pretty uncomfortable. When we finally arrived on our floor, he walked me to my room and we were about to say good night when I dropped my purse while looking for my key. "SHIT!!!" was all I could think when I saw what rolled out of my bag right towards his feet...
