Kristen's POV:

I decided to surprise Rob for Christmas by inviting his family over for the holidays. I knew he was bummed that they hadn't met Noelle yet, although he would turn 3 months old soon. So I organized for them to fly in just in time for the holidays. Rob was expecting the three of us to be celebrating alone, his parents had told him they would be on vacation in Europe over Christmas. So on December 23rd, after we had just finished breakfast, the doorbell rang. I was busy "burping" Noelle so I sent Rob to open the door. I heard the loudest gasp coming from the hallway once he realized his sisters as well as his parents were standing outside. Rob was too stunned to speak for a minute. I joined them in the hallway, explaining my surprise to Rob and introducing his family to baby Noelle. Suddenly, Clare gasped when she saw the ring on my finger, immediately looking at Rob questioningly. He nodded at her unspoken question, beaming at his mother.
"Robert Douglas Thomas Pattinson. How come you've put that beautiful ring on Kristen's finger and I find out casually instead of you telling us before?! I would have gotton you guys an engagement gift!" His mother rebuked him jokingly.
"Oh, come on, mum. Don't act all surprised now, you knew this was bound to happen at one point. But the wedding won't be happening before the end of next year anyways, so calm down, okay?" He smiled at her, before his whole family congratulated us excitedly.
"Are we planning on celebrating Christmas in the hallway now or are y'all gonna come in anytime soon?" I asked when everybody was still taking turns to either hug us or squeeze Noelle on my arm.
Witnessing how excited Rob was to see his family and introduce them to our baby boy truly made my heart swell. It felt like the purpose of my life was to make this man happy.

Rob's POV:

Having my family meet my son (still feels surreal to even say that) was just incredible. I felt so insanely proud, both of Noelle and of finally being able to call Kristen my fiancé in front of my family. It gave me goosebumps.
We spent the holidays at home, enjoying our time together and celebrating Noelle's first Christmas. Kristen flourished in cooking all day, spoiling us with the most delicious creations.
"When are you finally gonna do a cooking show or something, Kristen? This tastes heavenly." Lizzie praised Kristen's dinner as we dug in on Christmas Eve.
Kristen laughed. "Thanks, man. Well, I don't know, I don't love the idea of cooking in front of a camera... maybe one day I'll release a book with my favorite creations. I kinda wanna spare that idea for when they don't cast me on movies anymore though." She added jokingly. "We'll see. Right now I'm much more excited to finally bring Rob's first music video to life. We'll start on that soon, right baby?" She looked at me lovingly and took my hand. I smiled back at her and got lost in her stare for a moment till my father cleared his throat and we both snapped back into reality.
My family took care of Noelle for the most part of the holidays - they almost fought over who got to entertain him next - so Kristen and I could have some actual alone time as a couple for the first time in months, which was - very pleasant... My desire for her would never diminish, I was sure about that. I still enjoyed every night with her as much as I had all those years ago. She's my forever.
