Rob's POV:

The photographer had just left the house after our maternity shoot when I heard a loud banging sound coming from the living room. "Baby?" I called immediately, worried that she had hurt herself. When nobody answered, I ran to the living room, panicking. Then I saw my love, laying on the floor, motionless. My heart dropped to my knees. "Kristen!" I screamed, running towards her while trying to dial 911 with my trembling fingers. "911, what's your emergency?" The woman answered while I was frantically trying to feel her pulse. "Help me, please!!!!! My pregnant girlfriend just collapsed...."

Kristen's POV:

I felt Rob's hands wrapped around mine. I heard some other voices in the background, as well as some car noises. I opened my eyes to discover that I was inside of an ambulance, Rob right by my side. "Oh my God" I panicked. "What's with the baby? What happened?" I tried to sit up, but one of the paramedics pushed me back down."Your baby is fine, Miss Stewart. Don't worry. I'm glad you woke up. You were out for about 20 minutes. Fainting is a common pregnancy symptom, but we're gonna do a checkup at the hospital to be sure all is well, okay?"
"Oh- okay, thank you..." I replied.
I looked at Rob, who had tears in his eyes. "Oh baby, I was so worried. You have no idea.... I'm so glad you're okay, love." He said, squeezing my hand and caressing my bump with his other hand. At the hospital they ran all kinds of tests on me. They told us that my low blood pressure caused me to faint. "Make sure you drink enough, cut any physical activities, and take it easy for the rest of the pregnancy, Ms. Stewart. You mustn't forget your history, after all you were on heavy medication for a long time up until last year. Try to be alone as little as possible, in case your blood pressure drops again. You were lucky today, the placenta was not affected by your fall, but we wanna make sure that doesn't happen again." The doctor told me.

Rob's POV:

Oh my God. I somehow felt responsible for what happened. I don't wanna imagine what could have happened today..... I'd never let her out of my sight again. They decided to keep Kristen at the hospital for one night, just to make sure her circulation stayed stable. I refused to go home, so they arranged for us to stay together in a room with two beds. We only used one of them, though. I held her in my arms all night. Luckily, the night passed without any other incidents, and we could leave the hospital in the morning.

Kristen's POV:

I could tell Rob blamed himself for what happened. It was ridiculous. I tried to tell him over and over again that there was nothing he could have done besides call 911, but he wouldn't let me out of his sight ever since it happened. Later that week, we went to the regular appointment at my gynecologist. Finally, some good news. She told us that the baby would start to hear the sounds of his surroundings by this stage of the pregnancy. Of course, from that moment on, Rob used every possible opportunity to talk or sing to Noelle. My heart melted every time. He'd be the best dad to ever walk this earth. "We're so lucky to have him" I said to Noelle, stroking my bump.
