Rob's POV:

We were on our way to the airport to promote our movie in London. Bringing my love (and even our dogs) home for the first time in a decade felt very special to me. I squeezed her hand, and her adoring look made my stomach flutter. Every moment with her felt like floating on air, even after having first met her almost 16 years ago. The look she gave me made it clear that she felt the same way about me. She got off her anti-depressants basically as soon as we became official again. She looked happier than I had ever seen her.  She's my miracle. I love her to death.

Kristen's POV:

"I can't wait to see your family again, baby!" I said. We had decided to stay at his parents' place rather than a hotel for our premiere in London. We were on our way to our plane by now. "So am I, babe. And I guess I can tell you the surprise now, I booked us a cottage outside the city so we can stay one more week to wind down and explore the countryside as well as London a little more together."
"Oh my God, Rob, that's amazing!!!! I can't wait! I love you!!" What I had planned as a short thank-you-kiss turned into a major make-out session in the middle of the airport (protected by our bodyguards, of course). "I haven't told you the best part yet" He said once I let him break away from our passionate kiss. I looked at him questioningly. "If we like there, we could buy it. It's for sale." "Are you kidding me?" I excitedly squealed. "That's the sweetest idea baby, I would so love to have a small place here!!" I beamed at him and gave him another peck. Dang. I adore this man.

Rob's POV:

I was clutching Kristen's hand tightly as we made our way over to the house I grew up in. I felt so proud to call her mine again and bring her home with me like back in the days. In the back of my mind the idea of proposing to her once again surfaced. But considering her past as opposed to mine (her being divorced) I quickly stifled the thought. Having her by my side was enough. For now at least. Maybe one day....... We rang the bell, waiting for my parents to let us in.

Kristen's POV:

So many memories were surfacing while we were staying at Rob's parents' place. I remembered every corner of the apartment like it was yesterday. It was a little strange remeeting his parents at first, I still felt guilty towards them to what had happened. But I guess Rob must have briefed them not to give me a hard time, I could see them trying to be as polite and welcoming as possible. We were at dinner when Clare suddenly said: "My goodness, I wouldn't have believed it. But I have to admit it feels like all these years ago. I was skeptical at first when I heard the news, and I want to apologize for that, because seeing how you two look at each other warms my heart kids. You really are meant for each other, I suppose." She said, surprising both of us and making us not only blush but turning our faces beet red. Richard added: "You're right, honey. I guess nobody makes Robert as happy as you seem to Kristen, and I wanna thank you for that. Take care of his heart this time." "Dad!" Rob shot his father a glare, clenching his teeth, but I lay my hand on his thigh, calming him down. "I swear I will. I love Rob more than anything." I said, looking at his parents and they seemed to believe my eyes. They smiled at us as Rob kissed my cheek. "Who's ready for dessert?" His mom asked and we were more than happy to excuse ourselves to his room afterward.

Rob's POV:

We had just unpacked our suitcases when it was starting to snow outside. "Oh my God baby look!!" I said and pulled Kristen to the window with me. She gasped. "Wooow it's so pretty!!!! I love it. Let's go outside and enjoy the snow before it gets dark!" She said. "We will baby, but we have another important thing to do first." I said, pulling her to me. My hands explored her curves while I was kissing down her neck. She squealed. "Sssstop Rob, please, we don't wanna repeat this.... Remember when your parents must have heard us that one time?" I blushed. Shit. Right. That was so uncomfortable. But she was so sexy in her winter outfit. "We'll turn on the TV, it's fine, they're downstairs." I said, kissing her while undressing her. "Naughty. I like it." She whispered as she reached for the remote......

Kristen's POV:

Our time in London was absolutely magical. We wore hats and scarfs so nobody recognized us when we were out and about, which worked most of the time. Thankfully Rob knew all the exclusive, Paparazzi free places. We were cuddling in his childhood bed one night when I noticed a disgusting smell of onions. "How can you not smell that? Who cooks onions at 11pm?" I asked Rob. "What the fuck? I don't smell anything, where would it even come from?" He replied. I went to the window to open it further and took a whiff of the cold winter air. "Oh yes. I knew it. It's the neighbors! Come here baby, I told you." I said, pulling him by his hand. He leaned forward to smell it. "You're right babe. Someone's definitely cooking down there. Sorry I doubted you. Let's quickly close the window. I'll light a scented candle." "Thanks baby." We turned on a movie and fell asleep in each other's arms as every night.

Rob's POV:

I woke up in my favorite place in the world. Tangled in her arms. She was still snoring but I felt so stiff I had to get up. It was the day of the premiere. Tomorrow morning we'd leave for the countryside and move into our cottage. I decided to make breakfast for all of us, my parents were also still asleep. As I was preparing a traditional English breakfast that I knew Kristen enjoyed from time to time I heard footsteps on the stairs. That's my princess! "Good morning sleeping beauty" I greeted her smilingly, going in for a hug. "I hope you're hungry." I whispered after giving her a kiss. Right when she opened her mouth we heard my parents coming down as well. "Ohhh someone made us breakfast Clare!" My dad shouted excitedly. They joined us and I served all 3 of them my creations. We all dug in at once - except Kristen. She only took a few sips of her orange juice. "Aren't you hungry dear?" My mother asked her. "Not really, I feel a little queasy, I guess I'm nervous about tonight's premiere." She said. "Aw honey, I'm sorry it still affects you as much. I hoped it had actually gotton better over the years, both of you kids seem a lot more confident these days doing that kind of stuff." "No you're right about that. It's a lot easier than back in the days. Maybe it's just last night's midnight snack after all. Rob made me some pancakes at like 1am." She smiled at me and I returned it, taking her hand in mine under the table. My parents laughed. "I see. Well don't be late lovebirds, I'll clean up the kitchen."
