Kristen's POV:

It clicked with me when Clare reminded me of my newly gained confidence. She was right. I wasn't usually nervous anymore before public appearances like these. Especially not with Rob right by my side. Jesus Christ!!!!!!! Could i be pregnant???? Would that explain my nausea and hypersensitive sense of smell lately? I checked the period tracker on my phone. 8 days late! Oh my God. My heart almost exploded with excitement. I had to focus not to pass out. I wanted to tell Rob immediately. But I remembered that when we were thinking about babies back in the Twilight days I always planned on surprising him in a special way. Hmmmm..... I decided that either way I had to pull myself together for tonight. It's probably better not to tell him right now. He wouldn't be able to hide his excitement tonight and we shouldn't tell the public this early on. Okay Kristen, you got this. I felt pretty sure that I was indeed pregnant but I told Rob that I had forgotten to pack shaving cream so I could quickly grab a pregnancy test in the drugstore down the street. I bought the test and a gift box where I could wrap it up for Rob as a surprise if it was positive. It was so hard to act normal, my knees were trembling nonstop. I decided to take the test tonight after the premiere.

Rob's POV:

It still felt weird to attend public events with Kristen by my side again. But if felt so good and compared to stuff I did alone it doesn't feel like work whenever she is around. The excitement about our reconciliation hadn't died down one bit, but we accepted it as it was. The days of hiding our love for each other were long gone. Everything went well, people seemed to really love the movie, but we were relieved when we were on our way home again. Now that the official part was done I was looking forward to our private getaway. Just us and the dogs out in the cottage.
We couldn't keep our hands off each other for a single minute in the cab. Kristen seemed quieter than usual though. "Is something wrong, baby?" I asked, pulling her closer to me. She let out a breath she had been holding. "No, no, I'm just glad it's over. Can't wait to change into my sweats." She smiled and I made out with her once again. I'd never get tired of this. We had dinner with my parents at home and Kristen suggested to take a walk in the park with the dogs afterwards. "I'll just take a shower and then we can leave, ok?" She said and I consented. Half an hour later we were getting ready to go outside. I was putting on my winter boots, which took longer than her Uggs. "I'll set up the dogs while you get dressed, all right baby?" She suggested.
"Sure, I'll meet you downstairs!" I told my parents Goodbye and rushed down the stairs as soon as I was ready, excited for our walk. I entered the ground floor of my parents' flat where Kristen was waiting for me with our boys. I smiled at her. "Okay, ready to go!" I said. "Wait, why is there a box tied to Bear? Huh? What's that?" I was confused. Kristen had her pokerface on, shrugging. "Maybe he wants you to open it." She said. I furrowed my brows, looking at her questioningly, and approached Bear to get that box off him. I opened the box once I freed Bear of it, curious what this was about.

"OH MY" I whispered.

My eyes went black for a second.

No words could describe the flood of emotions that rushed through me once I realised what it was. My whole body felt like it was on fire. I dropped the box and looked up at Kristen. "We're pregnant???? 😭

Kristen's POV:

"Yes, baby. You're gonna be a dad." Tears of joy were screaming down my face by now. I have never felt happiness like this before in my life. "Oh, baby!!!" Rob cried and ran towards me. He picked me up and spun me around. He sobbed and hugged me to him, my feet still dangling in the air. "I can't believe it. We're gonna have our own little miracle. You're gonna be a mom!!" He said, still half crying. "Oh my God....." I replied. "We're gonna start a family. This is so surreal." I added. "I know." Rob responded. "I love you more than words can describe." He said, hugging me even tighter. "Be careful, Rob, you're crushing me. Or us" I laughed through the happy tears. "Oh right, I'm sorry." He put me down, kneeled down, and lifted up my shirt. "Hello, little one" He said, kissing my belly. "I can't wait to meet you, tiny angel. I love you very much." He continued kissing all over me until he reached my lips. It was the most passionate and loving kiss we ever shared, and we have shared a few over the years... Not one could compare to this one. It seemed like our love culminated in this beautiful moment. The dogs interrupted us, the poor guys were still waiting for their walk. We broke away from our kiss reluctantly. "I love you." I said and caressed his cheek. We shared one more loving look before taking care of our fur babies.

Rob's POV:

"How are we gonna do it? Where are we raising the baby? Are we gonna keep working? Don't you need to see a doctor like, now? Where are you gonna give birth? We need to find a midwife!" So many things had to be considered. I was as nervous as I was excited. "Slow down, babe!" Kristen laughed. "We have a lot of time to think all of this through. I'd say we'll go see a gynecologist as soon as we're settled in the cottage to first off get it confirmed. And don't they say you have to wait 12 weeks before you're telling anybody?"
"Right, but we can tell our family and close friends, can't we? I can't hide my joy...." I said.
"Sure baby, how about we surprise your parents tomorrow morning, like as a farewell gift?" Kristen suggested.
"Oh my God, that's a sweet idea! We're totally telling them tomorrow! We'll put a note in their breakfast." I said.
"Oh what a sweet idea, Rob! And we'll write 'promotion to grandparents' on it!!!" She added.
"Awwww, that's perfect, baby!!! God I'm so happy you can't even imagine. You couldn't ever give me a bigger gift. Come here" I once again pulled her to me, carefully this time. I kissed her forehead while cupping her lower belly with my hand. She smiled and gave me a tender kiss on the lips. "I think the dogs are getting tired. Let's head back, shall we?."
