Surprisingly enough, the presentation went off without a hitch. Deidara was only slightly nervous because all things considered, the worst that would happen is he was exposed as a fraud. In that case, Sasori would likely be annoyed but he and the stoic puppetmaster would just have to make a hasty exit. Messy would have been the word the redhead would likely use.

He felt worrying had been a waste of time though considering how complimentary all of the staff were. He didn't really care about them however, having decided that they were going to get the full force of his anger when the two former Akatsuki members left the city. He was no one's judge but he would never let an opportunity to wreak destruction go to waste. The children seemed to love it, despite what he had been told, he had still had minimal contact with anyone outside of the three he had met his first day. He saw in total about twelve children in the oddly shaped auditorium. He assumed the day would conclude early but before he could leave, the secretary stopped him. "The other teachers and staff are having a get together. I would invite you but being as you are new and part time." She shrugged in what was probably meant to look apologetic.

"I don't really do crowds anyway yeah." Deidara flipped his blonde hair and continued to take his leave when the woman grabbed his shoulder. He had to resist the urge to break her arm at the sheer audacity.

"Couldn't you stay for a few hours and watch the children while we have our gathering? You'll be paid at your normal wage for doing so of course." She smiled in a saccharine manner that made the man want to gag.

"Yeah." He crossed his arms over his chest.

"Alright." She looked relieved. "You can keep the children in here then. It should take about three hours." She hurried away, the clack of her ridiculously high heeled black stilletos echoing across the enclosed space.

He sat down without ceremony in a chair on the floor with his legs on either side of the back, wondering what the hell he was going to do to entertain them for three full fucking hours. He could always show them something with clay but that might not go well. He sighed.

"You look tired." Lyashina piped up. "Che, I'm annoyed there's a difference." Deidara answered carding a hand through his chunk of blonde hair on his face.

"Your hair is really pretty." A random girl he had never seen before said, almost looking like she wanted to get up and touch it.

Lyashina rolled her eyes but the twin boys nodded affirmatively.

Deidara liked being the center of attention but this was too much as all twelve children stared with different degrees of interest at him. Some seemed impressed while others seemed wary.

"Why are you wearing gloves indoors? That's considered rude." A young boy with short black hair mentioned. Lyashina glared at him so thoroughly Deidara almost didn't respond.

He held his hands up defensively. "That's what my aunt always taught me anyway."

"I have a condition yeah." Deidara said icily.

Just as the blonde was about to mold something just to entertain the kids, sans the detonating clay just in case, Lyashina boldly stood up and headed up to the stage. She looked around and waved her hand to Saki and Maki who both stood up and checked the double doors in the center of the room. He heard the lock slide into place as both boys nodded up at her and sat back down. Deidara bit his lip and tried not to laugh at the children's antics. In another life, Lyashina could have been some sort of leader, at the very least a sensei.

She flipped the microphone on and all idle chatter died down. She sure could command a room, despite her diminutive appearance. "So, that man, is going to help us." She pointed a small finger at Deidara.
