It was clear to the couple that everyone around them had become significantly more intoxicated in their brief exit. The pub had dimmed the lights despite the fact it was still daylight outside, the music was blaring through the speakers - creating a humming sensation through the teenager's bodies. With a smile on her face Elmira took the hand of her boyfriend that was previously resting on her back and began pulling him onto the center of the dance floor.
Swaying her hips to the dance music around her the blonde girl couldn't help but let out a small giggle at the feeling of her boyfriend pulling her against his chest. Moving her body, the blonde girl dropped down onto the floor and then ensured she grinded her hips onto her boyfriend when she got back up, causing him to roll his eyes in a sexually frustrated manner.
With a small laugh Elmira spun around, wrapping her hands around Riven's neck as they continued to dance, over his shoulder though the blonde girl spotted the likes of Dane and his new boyfriend.
"What do you think about them?". The ice fairy spoke, having to elevate her voice slightly to ensure the boy could hear her over the music. Pulling away slightly Riven narrowed his eyes, spinning just enough to see Dane kissing his new boyfriend. "It makes no difference to me." The third-year dismissed, leaning down and placing a kiss on his own girlfriend's lips before she pulled away and continued. "Don't act all tough with me. You and I both know you cared about him."
Elmira's sentence caused the boy to stop dancing, looking down at his girlfriend with shock and confusion across his expression. "Like you care for Tahmina?". The teenage boy snapped slightly, tilting his head towards the redheaded specialist who was dancing with Terra's cousin. "I wasn't accusing you Riv. We can talk about this later." The blonde girl whispered, not wanting to argue after having just made up with the specialist.
Turning back around the blonde girl couldn't help the sadness that enveloped her emotions at the sight of the self-proclaimed Winx Club. All of the girls were dancing together, laughing and having the best time of their life - seemingly without a care in the world. Memories of Beatrix flooded the ice fairy's mind, immediately killing her mood as she let out a deep sigh and walked towards the bar - not even bothering to tell her boyfriend where she was going.
With a simple hand gesture, the bartender poured her another round of bourbon, the blonde girl having been to the pub more times than she cared to admit across the years to have become a regular. Pulling money from the pocket of her pink flares the girl placed down more than the drink cost - compensating the worker for the amount of underage students he had served that day. Downing the entire glass in one go the blonde girl sighed to herself before she turned on her heels, surveying the area for her boyfriend only to see him walking out the side door back into the courtyard.
Grabbing an extra round of drinks for Riven and herself the blonde girl made her way into the beer garden, unknowingly being introduced to the sight of Terra's cousin trying to talk to her boyfriend. "Sorry to interrupt." Elmira announced, the sarcasm in her voice was strong as she walked around the table to sit between her boyfriend's legs - eyes narrowing towards the earth fairy in the process.
"You must be Elmira. I'm Flora." The fairy introduced, holding her hand out for the ice fairy to accept but instead she was met with hostility. "I'm aware." Riven couldn't help but laugh softly at the girl's antics, leaning forward he took a sip out of the drink his girlfriend had brought before continuing to enjoy his blunt with a show. "Right... Riv and I were just talking." The dark-haired girl informed, unsure as to why Elmira was so hostile towards her.
"I wouldn't believe anything else was happening anyway." Placing her drink down on the table as she spoke Elmira rotated her body slightly, signaling to her boyfriend she needed a hit. Without a word the third year placed the blunt between his own lips, inhaling before shot-gunning his girlfriend - hoping his display of PDA would be enough to settle her jealousy towards Flora.
Elmira couldn't help the smile on her face at the boy's actions, his constant reassurance helped both her emotions and her jealousy - even if she wouldn't let it show to the new fairy. Before either girl had time to speak the blonde girl spotted Terra walk around the corner, a smile constantly fixated on her face as she tried to hide her awkward tendencies.
"Drama waiting to happen." Riven whispered under his breath, taking another puff as he sighed heavily, confusing his girlfriend more than she cared to admit. "Here you are. How do we all feel about darts? Me and Kat versus--" Terra began, moving her hands slightly before she was cut off by her cousin, the blonde girl raising her eyebrow at the abrupt words. "What did you say to him?".
Instead of immediately denying her clear actions Terra turned her attention to the couple, annoyance across her face as she spoke. "You just couldn't leave it alone, could you?". Elmira felt her boyfriend's arms move from her waist as they stretched outwards in defeat. "I didn't say anything." Riven confirmed, sighing before he tapped the side of Elmira's waist - indicating for her to move forwards slightly so he could get out.
Elmira narrowed her eyes in annoyance, wanting nothing more than to freeze both earth fairies to the ground for making her boyfriend upset but before she got the opportunity to Riven grabbed ahold of her hand and pulled her up with him. "Ta-da. Drama." The boy commented once more to Flora before he moved his hand to Elmira's waist and led her out of the beer garden.
"What the hell was that about?". The blonde girl finally questioned, ensuring they were far enough away that neither fairies would hear them. "Just Terra being Terra." Riven sighed, beyond defeated given everything with Beatrix and Dane over the last few weeks. "Say the word and I'll happily freeze them both over." The ice fairy offered, a small, wicked smile on her face causing her boyfriend to laugh softly before he shook his head. "As entertaining as that would be, I really can't be bothered to deal with their suitemates right now."
Continuing to walk around the side of the pub and back onto the main road the boy felt a reassuring squeeze in his hand, his girlfriend urging him to share the truth. "Terra, she knows how to get on my nerves. She told me to leave Flora alone because she thinks I was the person to ruin you, Beatrix and Dane... I don't know, maybe she's right."
"Okay, first of all. You didn't ruin any of us. If anything, we were the one to corrupt you. Before we arrived, you were just smoking weed and skipping pointless classes. I'm the reason you ended up caught up in the dealings of Rosalind and even more so in corrupting Dane. If she has such a worry for any of our lives, she can tell me herself. Secondly, why does Terra have such an impact on you? You guys haven't been friends for years."
Riven let his girlfriend's words process in his brain momentarily before he sighed once more, unsure what exactly to say to her. "I don't know, I think she's just being cautious with her cousin moving here - we're just friends before you get jealous again." The specialist's words were playful towards the end, masking his feelings with humor as he usually did. "Yes, I was jealous, get over it thank you."
The ice fairy laughed, bringing her boyfriend in for a tight embrace in hopes of easing both of their stresses in the process. Standing in silence the pair stood to the side of the pub, wrapped in each other's arms they simply let time pass before Riven placed a reassuring kiss on the top of Elmira's head, causing the blonde girl to look up towards her boyfriend. "Fuck, I love you." The girl whispered, kissing the third-year specialist on the lips softly before he replied. "I love you."
"There you are! We need to go. Like, now." Sky interrupted, running around the corner before immediately motioning for the pair to follow him. Without a second of hesitation the couple separated and jogged after the boy's friend, unsure what was going on. "Stella called me. Beatrix is in trouble."
At the mention of the girl's best friend Elmira found a lump appear in her throat, trying not to cry in the process. "Where are we going?". The blonde girl spoke, watching as both boys quickly changed into their gear and readied up for battle.
