"It's a simple escort mission. Pick up the prisoner in Solaria, bring him to Long Shore, where he'll board a ship for Polaris. The Solarian troops will do the heavy lifting. We're just back-up." Andreas explained to the small selection of Specialists carefully selected inside one of the many sheds at Alfea. Elmira sat beside Beatrix, the pair holding hands as they watched the older man turn around, so his back was leaning against the car - addressing his biological son directly. "Will this be a problem for you? Seeing the man who raised you in chains. Watching him get shipped off to exile?"

A brief moment of silence fell among the group, the blonde girl glancing around the room and rolling her eyes when they landed on those of her ex-girlfriend - Tahmina stood right beside Riven on the opposite side of the car. Beatrix noticed the tension in her best friend's body, taking it upon herself to squeeze her hand reassuringly before the blonde paid attention to the older man and his son once more.

"I'll manage." Sky breathed out, not daring to look at his father as he tried to involve himself in the mission to transport Silva. Andreas however didn't buy his son's words, sparing a glance towards the two girls seated to the left of him he noticed them both shake their heads - signaling they didn't believe the blonde specialist. "Unconvincing. Next time." Andreas informed causing Sky to look towards him with offense. "What? Are you serious?".

The silence that followed after the blonde specialist's question was enough of an answer for the boy, scoffing and walking off out of the room only made the pair of best friends' smirk towards each other. "Let's talk vulnerabilities." Andreas began once more, seemingly unphased by his son's actions. "The most obvious one is that we're not coming. Dropping blondie makes sense but we're actually useful." Beatrix spoke, standing up and pulling her best friend along with her in the process - the duo now standing right beside the older man.

"Rosalind wants you here." Andreas explained, looking between both girls in an attempted warning. "That's stupid." The air fairy voiced out, not daring to look at her father as her eyes continued to scan over the plans. The blonde on the other hand watched the frustration grow in the older man's expression, his head turning slightly he addressed the rest of the team around them. "Dismissed. You too Elmira."

The blonde narrowed her eyes towards the man, feeling slightly hurt he wasn't including her but instead she walked towards her boyfriend and left the room, sending a reassuring smile too Beatrix beforehand. "That was intense." Riven voiced once they were out of earshot. "I don't know what's going on with Bea lately, she doesn't seem to trust Rosalind as much as she did last year." Elmira confessed, finding herself situated in one of the old used storage rooms of Alfea.

"Maybe she's just worried about you. Rosalind has been training you to the bone lately, news has it she wants to train you as a specialist too? Meanwhile she's using Beatrix as her assistant of all things mundane." Riven tried explaining, the blonde girl sighing and leaning against one of the tables behind them before she spoke. "Rosalind is just trying to help me. She wants to know where I come from-" "Okay, stop. You sound like a broken record. I didn't say I doubted her intentions or didn't trust her. I'm just trying to give you an insight into what Beatrix could be feeling."
