Elmira and Beatrix had listened to the Blood Witch's less-than-subtle orders, arriving at his office just after sun rise. The ice fairy sipped on a now cold mug of coffee as she leant against the wall outside the ex-headmistress' office. She occasionally clicked her red heeled boots against the tiles in an attempt at breaking the eerie silence that surrounded them. Despite the exhaustion and the situation, the blonde had ensured she dressed well and still practical. Her red heeled boots were partnered with a pair of wide-leg vintage jeans, a mini red singlet and a black belt to hold the entire outfit together if she had to run anywhere. She hated admitting this, but Riven's leather jacket she had stolen a few days prior hung off of her frame like a safety blanket she didn't realise she needed.
The scent had dulled due to Elmira's use of the item, but it still reminded her of the boy she loved so dearly, the one she hoped would forgive her once more after everything they had been through. "Surely that coffee has to be gross by now Mira." Beatrix suggested, watching her best friend carefully as the blonde mindlessly swished the contents inside the mug. "I'm definitely not denying that." A simple confirmation from the ice fairy caused her best friend to chuckle lowly before the redhead shook her head and turned her attention back to the head office door.
Not a moment later the door swung open and revealed more Blood Witches carrying a now unconscious fairy in their arms before Sebastian stepped down the steps behind them, his eyes settling on the pair of best friends he had seen earlier in the night. The man stretched his neck upwards momentarily as the veins in his body began to glow an electric blue - a side effect Elmira had become quite used to seeing on the Blood Witch, even in their shout amount of time around one another.
"Sorry to interrupt whatever this is, but at the risk of being a dead curious cat, what exactly is your endgame here?" Beatrix inquired, her eyes momentarily glancing between the veins on the man's neck and his face as her best friend stood up from her lean against the wall and joined the conversation. "I think we all know those answers weren't part of the deal." Sebastian spoke, his eyes lingering on the blonde a little longer than they did Beatrix causing her to respond instead.
"Fair enough. However, if we're taking the deal literally, our part is over." As the ice fairy spoke, she found herself straightening her posture subconsciously as the Blood Witch stepped closer and began to look down on her. "Mira's right. You have the school. You have the fairy. You have everything you want."
Without breaking eye contact with the ice fairy Sebastian put his hand in his pocket and pulled out two separate pieces of paper, handing them both to the air fairy which she accepted immediately - handing the piece of paper with Elmira's name too her before opening her own hastily. "Now you have everything you want. Anything else?". Beatrix didn't dare glance up to meet the yes of the Blood Witch who had finally moved his gaze off of the blonde to her left.
Simply shaking her head Sebastian found herself looking at the ice fairy once more, leaning towards her ear his voice was eerily quiet - as if he didn't even want his own guards hearing what he had to say.
"If you find yourself needing answers to the questions you haven't even thought of yet, you know where to find me." Elmira felt an uncomfortable chill run through her body at the man's words, daring to look into his eyes as he moved away to ensure the legitimacy of his words. To the ice fairy's surprise, the same convincing look remained on Sebastian's face, the one he held when they made their original deal that he had seemingly proven to hold up his end of the deal of.
Without another word shared he simply nodded at the best friend's; the redhead hadn't dared take her eyes off of the paper since it landed in her hands - almost as if she was waiting for it to vanish if she looked away. Elmira on the other hand watched closely as the Blood Witch walked towards the doors, leaning towards one of the many guards now situated around Alfea before he ordered the man on his next course of action. "Keep looking for our leverage."
The man simply nodded, his instructions clear and demanding yet his tone remained soft - it was an observation the ice fairy had unknowingly picked up on, regardless of his motives Sebastian seemed to care for those who followed him, whether they were Blood Witches or simply just believed in a similar cause.
"I'm going to the Sanctum. Give me 20 minutes, then bring another." Once Sebastian was out of sight the guards quickly dispersed to complete their duties, leaving the best friends in the room together alone for the first time. Elmira glanced anxiously at the piece of paper in her hand, not having the heart to open it before she looked towards her best friend - noticing the redhead's gaze fixed solely on a certain book that now lay open and unattended - the same book the duo had originally given to Bloom to give to Sebastian - the Blood Witch book.
Locking eyes with her best friend Elmira knew what the air fairy had planned immediately, with a quick step towards the door the ice fairy ensured nobody was around before looking back and nodding at Beatrix. Not wasting a moment on hesitation, the redhead stepped into the office, picked up the Blood Witch book and walked straight past her best friend - the pair heading towards the suite where they could come up with a definite plan of action in private.

"We have to get this book to Stella." Beatrix finally spoke as she stepped out of her bedroom with a black backpack in one hand and the book in the other. "Stella? What is it with the two of you?". The ice fairy scoffed, not trusting nor necessarily liking the princess in question. "Stella has been kind to me, when we fell out, she was there and not like Tahmina was for you."
The blonde found herself rolling her eyes at her best friend's words, not liking the fact she immediately leaned on someone that was on the exact opposite side to them in most morals and conflicts - and the fact she brought up her ex-girlfriend. "Look, I've already messaged her. They're staying at some grounds keepers house off campus."
Beatrix packed the book and a few other essential supplies into the backpack as she spoke, seemingly packing in case the pair couldn't return to Alfea for an extended period of time. The ice fairy didn't want to waste time arguing with her best friend, so she simply began walking into her room and grabbed a small backpack of her own. The blonde carefully walked around her suite, picking up a couple of photo frames of those she loved the most - one of her and her parents when she was born, her and her Mums, a collage style of Beatrix and herself through the years that they'd made one-night last school break and a similar style one of herself and Riven.
The blonde knew she was overexaggerating but if Sebastian figured out, they were the ones who took the Blood Witch book she didn't want any direct leads to those she loved just loitering around to make it easier for him to hurt her. As the ice fairy lingered her gaze on the frame of herself and her family, she remembered the piece of paper she'd securely zipped into the pocket of Riven's jacket - the one Sebastian had given her.
"Hey Bea, what did your piece of paper say?". The blonde called out, zipping up her bag of sentimental belongings before her best friend slowly walked into the room. "I have two sisters... had..." The air fairy confessed, her eyes immediately watering at the words - having not spoke them out loud until that moment. Within seconds Beatrix sat down beside her best friend, letting the tears flow from her eyes as she sobbed into the ice fairy's chest.
Elmira didn't know what to say to make the redhead feel better so all she did was hold her tight, her hands tracing soothing shapes along her back and arms as the air fairy sobbed. The ice fairy knew how much her best friend struggled with not knowing her true origins, that had been stolen from the girl before she even got the opportunity to become familiar with it and despite the blonde knowing familial loss, she had no words to help soothe the blubbering mess of a fairy in her arms.
