Despite the blonde girl's plans for a relaxing night, she was rudely interrupted by another text from Rosalind - demanding she meet her in the headmistress' office immediately, and where Elmira goes so does Tahmina. That led to the ice fairy's current situation - standing anxiously beside her best friend and her ex-girlfriend as she locked eyes with her boyfriend, nothing but confusion running through her mind as she felt the unbelievable tension in the room.

"What is going on?". The ice fairy whispered too her best friend, desperately trying to seek some kind of information but she was quickly shut down by Andreas giving her a stern glance and simple head nod towards the door - the headmistress storming in only made the situation more uncomfortable. "Your update on Silva." Rosalind spoke, standing directly in front of Andreas as she did so.

"No concrete advances." The older man voiced with authority, desperately trying to hold his gaze with his superior in the process. Elmira watched the older woman's motions carefully, analyzing how her body shifted before a smirk appeared on her face. Without so much as a word the three boys in front of her were being raised from the ground, the oxygen stripped from their bodies as they desperately gasped for air.

The blonde stepped forward in a panic, trying to get the older woman to stop as her own eyes flashed a deep blue, her mind racing as she attempted to help those she loved. "Rosalind!" The ice fairy yelled, pushing past her best friend so she could get closer to the headmistress in question. Elmira was furious, shifting her gaze to her father-figure as he tried to silently plead with her to calm down. Moving her gaze towards her boyfriend the blonde girl seemingly relaxed enough to allow her ex-girlfriend to grab ahold of her wrist and pull her back into line.

"Don't do it." Tahmina whispered, pleading with the ice fairy to regain control, a burning cold sensation flowing through the redhead's body just from touching the blonde girl. Rosalind's eyes narrowed on the ice fairy, almost as if they were testing her and just how far she would go to defend those she loved. "Riven knows something." Beatrix interrupted, fearing for not only her father but her best friend. The air fairy's voice was low, pain clearly evident as she kept her gaze firmly on the ground. "Something about who helped Silva escape. He just won't say what."

With Beatrix's confession the three boys were dropped onto the ground, freely breathing for the first time in nearly a minute. The ice fairy was even more furious than before as she spun around and made eye contact with her best friend. "How dare you." The blonde spat out, hatred filling her system the longer she looked at the redhead in front of her. "I'm sorry." Beatrix whispered, her hand reaching out to grab her best friends in a desperate attempt at apologizing.

"Oh, very well. Everyone is dismissed." At the sound of Rosalind's dismissal, the blonde immediately spun on her feet, throwing her arms around her boyfriend's neck before relaxing into his embrace and touch. She knew she had to clear the air with Riven but in that moment, she just needed him to hold her before she snapped and froze her best friend to the floor. As the pair began to walk out of the room the blonde felt her blood run cold at the headmistress voice once more. "Except Riven."

The third-year specialist planted a kiss on the top of his girlfriend's head, lingering there for a moment before he dropped his hands and walked back to where he was originally standing. The ice fairy spun on her feet, refusing to move as she looked towards the headmistress. "Rosalind. Don't do this." Elmira pleaded, staring directly at the woman in an effort to change her mind. "Tahmina. Take Miss Chambers back to her suite."

A strong grip wrapped around the blonde's arm before she was being slowly pulled out of the room, despite her best efforts at fighting her ex it was no use against the trained specialist. Rosalind's attention didn't take long to turn back to the specialist in questioning, drowning out the blonde girl's pleading she began talking once more. "Now, tell me everything you know about Saul Silva."

Before the blonde could hear anything else the door was slammed behind her, Beatrix locking it in the process in order to not let her best friend commit suicide by interfering yet again. "Tahmina get your hands off me right now or I will freeze them off." The ice fairy spat at her ex, storming out of the office and towards her suite, her body completely freezing the angrier she became.

"Mira. Please, let me explain." Beatrix pleaded, running down the halls after her best friend. "I have nothing to say to you right now." The blonde snapped back, pushing the doors to their shared suite open before attempting to get too her room without another word. "Then just listen. Please." The air fairy spoke, her hand reaching out to stop the blonde from slamming her bedroom door in the process.

"Rosalind would've killed them all. She was going to kill my father. I couldn't just stand there and let him die-" Tears were welling in Beatrix's eyes as she stood in the doorway, desperately trying to reason with her best friend. "Yet you had no issue throwing my boyfriend into the firing line. Rosalind is desperate for answers, lord knows what she's going to do to Riven and yet you didn't seem to care."

Elmira's eyes flashed blue once more as she stepped closer to her best friend, the fury building in her body was more than she could possibly imagine. "You told me you loved the boys. You told me you would protect them. And yet you may just be the reason I lose the person I love the most." Tears spilled out of the blonde's eyes as she spoke, any kind of argument she had with her best friend seemed to result in tears, but these felt different, something about them felt final.

"You know what hurts the most? We were meant to be in a partnership. We were meant to be there for each other. To support each other. We were our own unit and yet you just blew it all up." Beatrix didn't dare to speak; tears were falling down her own cheeks as she ran out of ways to plead with the ice fairy in front of her. She had never seen Elmira so betrayed, never had she wronged her to this extent, it was terrifying the redhead as she struggled to figure out what she could do to fix their friendship. "If anything happens to Riven. You're responsible."

Without speaking the ice fairy pulled her bedroom door closed, pushing her best friend out in the process before she leant her back against the door - the familiar feeling of ice flowing from her body pulled the blonde from her thoughts. Letting out a small sob Elmira finally broke down, bringing her knees against her chest she prayed with everything she had in her that her boyfriend would be okay at the hands of Rosalind.

Everything that had been happening since the start of term was beginning to become too much for the ice fairy to handle: the excessive training sessions, the enforced rule changes and now the fear that her boyfriend was being interrogated by the same headmistress who had no mercy built into her soul. Now, despite their promise to never leave each other's side - it seemed that the one person she trusted the most in this world, the one person she would've died for seemingly wouldn't do the same for her if it meant Andreas was being threatened too.
