Beatrix had returned back to the suite not long after the explosion, having poked her head around enough to find out information of what happened. Elmira had then been informed that Rosalind was dead, the ice fairy wouldn't lie and say she was shocked - after all, the old woman had it coming. Her passing did provide an unhealthy amount of unease however, surrounding Alfea, the Blood Witches and even the girl's positions in the school - would they go back to being ordinary students now?

As if perfectly timed the projection device that sat directly beside the television lit up in front of them, the best friends walking in that direction as they awaited the address of Queen Luna. Elmira's back was leant against the kitchen counter now, Beatrix leaning against one of the lounges as they readied themselves for battle if needed.

"Citizens of Solaria, I have tragic news. Rosalind Hale, headmistress of Alfea, is dead. It is a grave loss, not only for the students of Alfea but for the entire realm." The ice fairy simply scoffed at this; any mention of the now former headmistress used to have the blonde immediately at her defense but after the last year any shred of respect she held for the woman had disintegrated into ashes. "Rosalind was one of the bravest fairies the Otherworld has ever seen. Respected by her peers. Feared by her enemies. But fear will not dictate how we respond. There is a guilty party, and they will be brought to justice. Blood Witches."

Elmira and Beatrix audibly gasped at Queen Luna's address, the pair sharing glances before the redhead spoke up. "She's actually blaming the Blood Witches? As if we don't know otherwise? She's declaring war." The blonde went to reply but instead got cut off by the Queen's continued address. "Their hatred of our kind is well known. But a heinous act such as this is unprecedented, carried out by their leader, Sebastian Valtor. Every Blood Witch following him is considered an enemy of the Crown. We will use the full weight of our military against them. And make no mistake, this is an act of war."

As the address ended the projection turned off leaving the entirety of Solaria in stunned silence, everyone trying to process the implications of the Queen's address. "She actually did it." The blonde finally spoke, a dry laugh leaving her lips as she shook her head in disbelief. Beatrix finally stood up at the girl's response and walked around to their bar, pulling out a bottle of tequila and held it towards her best friend. "If we're going to war, I'd rather go out buzzed."

The duo started laughing, choosing to ignore their potential responsibilities for the night and instead enjoy the time they had together - war always took its victims and on the off chance it took either one of them they would rather spend what little time left they had together.

Elmira chose a more practical look to tackle the next day, fear of the war looming over her as she did so. Choosing a pair of light washed jeans, a white cropped top and a green leather jacket with her signature golden necklaces was enough for the blonde to start her day. Beatrix had already started her rounds, determined to find out more information whilst keeping herself on the low in fear the best friend's association with Sebastian would be discovered. Elmira on the other hand had been summoned to the Specialists Hall by none other than Saul Silva, she was unsure of his intentions but she was determined to find out.

The ice fairy began her walk towards the Specialists Hall, regular classes having been cancelled -at least for the blonde - given the war had officially been declared. The halls were emptier than usual as a lot of fairies were dismissed and sent home if their powers weren't deemed to be of immediate use to the Solarians, that or if they were too young and didn't have complete control over their abilities. The quiet chatter sent chills down the ice fairy's back as she continued on her way towards Silva, she didn't necessarily trust him nor his true motivations behind the invitation but she was curious nonetheless.

Varied looks were thrown Elmira's way as she walked, the noise of her combat boots hitting the gravel surface as she neared the main entrance of the hall was enough to draw immediate attention her way. Some stares were of shock - shock the blonde was anywhere near their compound, shock at the fact this fairy that held such strong powers was seemingly called on by their leader. A small measure of looks were of disgust - a clear rift between the blonde girl and those who deemed themselves friends of Riven was obvious, but it didn't waver the ice fairy's stance given the majority of glances were of admiration - Elmira was seemingly a legend among the halls of Alfea, her powers had never been witnessed before let alone the transformation ability she possessed - this title alone was enough to make her a legend amongst the halls.

"Elmira. Thank you for joining us." Silva spoke pulling the blonde girl out of her spiraling mind, his authority ruled across the groups, those who had previously stopped to stare were back to their assigned duties as if the last couple of minutes didn't occur. "I didn't have anything else to do." The ice fairy responded, shrugging her shoulders before she motioned towards the vans in front of her. "You've got them on supply duty? You do realise some of the Specialists you have are more talented than the ones in the Solarian army?".

Silva stared towards the younger girl, having not been used to the girl's straightforwardness - merely familiar with her abrupt tone from the ramblings of Rosalind. With a slight laugh the older man began speaking once more. "I don't doubt that however they are still children. Their main worries should not be a war, rather preparing for future ones." Elmira shook her head in humor, moving her eyes from that of the vans towards that of the Specialist leader.

"And what, you didn't fight in a war when you were in school?". The silence was enough of a response for the blonde to assume victory in her silent challenge, her arms now crossed she decided to change the direction of conversation. "What exactly do you need me for? This isn't really my area of expertise, nor do I want to be here." Silva once again laughed at the young girl's honesty before he answered.

"Rosalind trusted you - even after your confrontation. Now, I'm aware your status amongst the Specialists is infamous at best but I know you have a certain means of persuasion - specifically with a certain few students here." The older man motioned his hand towards that of a nearby van, a van which seemingly showed Sky, Riven and Dane loading supplies on top of. "These boys are just kids, talented? Of course. But they're still just children. I need you to help keep them in line, they're too eager for their own good."

Elmira stopped in her tracks as she processed what the leader was suggesting. "You want me to not only be in close proximity of my exes but also to what, help keep them in check? You're ambitious but the last thing that'll happen from me being around Riven will be me freezing him to the ground because I'm sick of his arrogance." The blonde turned on her feet and went to leave as she finished speaking, shaking her head at the mere suggestion.

"I want you to train with them. Riven and Dane are some of our most temperamental specialists, they need to blow off steam and given your history you are the best way to get them to do that." Silva's justification made little sense; she could sense the man had other motives behind the plan but after a moment of contemplation the blonde girl realised she had nothing better to do. Sebastian had made no contact since their previous meeting, the best friends seemingly not needed in his plan as of yet.

With a deep sigh and another moment to think the ice fairy turned back around to face Silva. "You want me to be their personal punching bag? What an interesting teaching method." The blonde taunted, a teasing tone in her voice having the pair of them sharing a moment of laughter before the ice fairy spoke again. "If they kill me, that's on you."
