"Hey neighbor, are you following me?" He said jokingly. "Ha-ha so funny" I replied. "But on a serious note what are you doing outside this late?" He said. "How ironic that you're asking me this question, I think I should ask you the same question" I said. "Fair enough, I couldn't sleep. You?" He continued. "Same" I replied. "I'm pretty shocked that you didn't follow me, because it's like you've been stalking me lol. You fancy me?" He said later on. I cannot believe this boy, me? Stalking him? He wishes. But somehow I find his voice very attractive which is weird I never thought I would find it. "Funny if you to think that you're worth stalking" I said with a smile on my face. "Oho really now" he laughed. "Anyways where are you heading too, can I join you?" He continued. "I just came to get air, that's all but if you want to go there's an eating place across the roa-"
"Wait you're asking me out on a date Aliyah?" He said with a smile on his face. "No of course not and how tf do you know my name" I said. "We're neighbors, of course I know your name" he replied. Nick is a really funny guy, he also sounds like an f boy. He probably is. A few minutes later we're walking to an eating place and we talked like we've known each other for years. Once we get there we get something to eat which was weird I ate, a lot actually more than usual. We spent our time talking and laughing. Apparently his parents got divorced recently so he had to move with his mom from London. I also told him a bit about myself. Next minute I was telling him about Jaden. "This Jaden guy sounds like trouble don't you think?" He says. "He isn't as bad as it looks like" I reply. "I haven't met him yet but I can already tell that he's no good" he said. "A f boy knows a f boy when he sees one" he continued. "So you admit to being a player?" I said laughing. "No Aliyah, a retired one. I haven't even made a move on you. You see" he said jokingly. I got home around 1 a.m. I didn't realize that time could fly so much. Once we were at my bedroom window we say goodbye to each other. "Wait Aliyah, give me your number so I can text you" he said. I sneeze. "And get my jacket, it's like you'll need it" he continues. "I'm already home lol I won't need it" I said. "Keep it" he argued. I get inside and lay on my bed. For some reason I keep on blushing, I feel like I've got butterflies in my stomach. We spend the whole night texting each other. The next minute I realize that it's getting light outside. I didn't realize how much nick and I have so much in common. He loves reading, so do I? He loves watching edits of the movie on tiktok before actually watching the movie, so do I? I think I've found myself a new friend. The next morning I call prince and tell him about the night before. Of course he said it was dangerous for me to go with stranger but overall I think he's happy that I've got a new friend. Mom's having an event today and she invites nicks mom and of course know he'll be there so will prince. I don't text nick because I want him to text me first. Today is one of those days where I dress nicely, I don't know why but it felt good too. Mom was shocked to see me. "You look happy, it suits you. Continue doing what you're doing" she said to me earlier. Nicks mom arrives a few minutes later but nick is nowhere to be seen. "Hi miss Evans, where is nick" I said with a smile. "He'll be here in a while darling, he just went out with his friends" she said. Nick has friends, wow. I don't think he'll come. I sit with prince and his friends. He tried his best to make me comfortable but ofcourse it wasn't working. I go to the kitchen to get some water but for some reason this water bottle won't open. "Fuck" I scream. "Relax, what the poor bottle did to you". Nick was here and suddenly a smile came across my face, I felt so happy. I introduced him to prince and they got along so well. A few minutes later prince and his friends were playing truth or dare. "Come with me" nick said while holding my hand. Later we go into a quiet room. "You look gorgeous Aliyah" he said holding both my hands. I really thought I would melt. "What, you can't speak now? A minute ago you wouldn't shut up" he said laughing. "Shut up" I said smiling while trying to punch him. "The moon looks so pretty today, don't you think?" He said. I've never noticed it but it does. I don't really know what happened next but the next thing I remember is us kissing. We don't talk much after that, we mostly spent time holding hands. Prince noticed because he asked me about it when he was going home. After everyone went home, mom and nicks mom were saying bye to everyone. Nicks mom leaves a few minutes after but nick remains. "Bye, see you tmr at school Aliyah" nick said. "Bye Nick Evans" I replied. He left by giving me a goodbye kiss. I really felt like I was dreaming. I kept on smiling. The next day I went to school and I didn't see nick, but everyone was talking about him. I saw him at break and lunch but we didn't talk. I think he saw me too.
