I watch in silence as Jah accurately heads in the direction of my neighborhood.

There's no way that he knows where I say... Is there??

He continues to drive, the pending excitement in the air had shocked any and all sleepiness straight out of the two of us as we sit at the edge of our seats in anticipation.

I don't even have any formed thoughts on why Jah is excited, yet the simple fact that he is, is more than enough for me.

"Where...did you say your apartment is again??" Jah asks, breaking me free of my thoughts.

I, for one, am personally excited because... Jah being right at my doorstep has only ever been a dream of mine that I had fantasized about and this time, it is actually going to happen!

"Uh, you turn right, here." I point, showing Jah the way and he follows.

"See? I promised I'd come to your apartment, didn't I?" Jah speaks, sending my beating heart into overdrive and I smile at him.

I nod my head, making him laugh as he keeps driving, coming so close to my place that I begin to prepare myself ahead of time.

"What is it?" Jah asks me.

"Oh, nothing! Just...super excited! That's all." I say, smiling brightly.

Jah laughs.

"Well, were here...I think." He says, stopping the car.

"Uh, yeah! It's just up ahead, the next building, actually but..." I say.

"Oh, sh*t. Prolly best not to park right in front, anyway." He says to himself, shooting a smile my way and only fuelling my excitement as I smile right back.

I go to open the door but stop and choose to wait as Jah reaches over for the glovebox to retrieve his mask and I hand over to him the jacket I had bought. I patiently wait until he's done and the first one to open his car door, getting out. I do the same, shutting the door and walking around the front of the car, joining Jah who meets me there with his extended hand as I grab onto it.

I watch him while we begin to walk, taking notice of how on edge he is. Although they are not visibly clear, his eyes seem to dart all over the place as does his head, scanning the surrounding area in haste. Getting up the small step, I leave him there, going to first unlock the door to my apartment.

Oh...Sh*t...

I slowly back away from my door with my head thrown back, alarming Jah as he watches me.

"Ugh... F*ck." I grunt, looking at the beautiful clouds that all paint the sunset-stained sky, setting the mood.

Jah tilts his head and shrugs, asking me what the matter is without using any words and I pick up on that.

"The key to my apartment, Jah... It's still in my room...in Florida...!" I state and due to not being able to see his face, Jah seems to freeze at this sudden confession.

He drops his head as to think.

"Wait... I, uh... I could call my mom. She could bring it..." I speak, making Jah step back, expressing his protests.
