Inside the stores were big and very nice looking. When I thought Billy wasn't much of a reader. Turns out he wanted some parenting books. He was a little in embarrassed by it. And here comes Heather. Mother fucking Heather. What she works here? Shoot me please just shoot me.
Of course they began to talk while I went to the coffee shop and hid in there for awhile. And they found me of course. Heather smiled and congratulated me. "I'm so happy for the both of you."
You mean just me right? If I find out that he's been cheating, I promise that I'll pull a Neil so fast where no one can find me. Well except my family of course. "Thank you Heather." How do I escape? I looked at his books that he had bought. Well he's trying at least. "How have you been?" I can't not believe I just asked that.
"Wonderful. Thank you for asking." Why is she so preppy? "Billy and I were just chatting about how the two of you moved to California. How do you like it out there?"
"Just fine. It's something new." I looked over at Billy. "Billy I think my sugar is low, do you mind if you get me a hot chocolate please?"
"Sure." He excuses himself.
"Isn't he the sweetest?" She smiled. "I can tell by the way he always looked at you, talked about you that he just simply loves you."
"Talks about me?"
"Well yes. I work here and at a small store that's right by the hotel that you guys were staying one time. I saw him a few times there and we spoke."
So that's where he's been going on his "jogs" mother f..... Ugh! "Is that so?"
"Oh yes. He talks about how happy that you make him. And about how he hopes that he makes you proud..." She went on, that felt like forever.
Proud... Proud? Proud of what? That's he's cheating on me with you? Of course they can be friends for all I care. But I know how they were back in high school. I just felt like at this moment I needed to be away from everyone. My stomach started to spin. "Will you please excuse me?" I got up and ran to the girls bathroom. I threw up a lot more then Im normally do. Few minutes knocking on the door. I hear Heather. "Alright Tory?" I threw up again.
Few minutes after waiting for the spinning to go away. I got up washed my face, hands, heading out as Billy and Heather. God I can't think about them right now. Standing right in front of me, Billy looks overly worried. "I'm carrying you out to the car."
I shook my head. "No I can walk it. I think I just ate to fast."
"Will you at least take my arm and let me walk to the car?" I see that Heather has his things.
"I'm fine. Everything stopped spinning."
Not fighting me on this, Billy took his things back from Heather as they waved goodbye to each other. Back to the car, Billy opens the back door. "Why don't we wait to go back just to make sure I can sit back here with you while you are lying down."
Can't we just go home? My gut is telling my that might not be a bad idea. "Okay."
The car was big enough. I still had to curl up, that was fine. Billy gently pulls my hair back. We sat in the back for about at least fifteen minutes. His fingers gently going threw my hair. I wanted to cry so hard about everything. His voice was calm as can be. "How are you feeling?"
I sorta sat up not looking at him. "I think I'll be alright if we start going now."
Billy rubs my back as I was sitting up. "Your sure?"
Opening the car door. "I'm sure." I moved up to the passenger seat as Billy went to the driver side. I put my sweatshirt hood up. So I could cry. Well tried anyways.
Actually Billy drove the speed limit and when we got home Billy said. "Hey, we're home."
I did fall asleep. Opps. "Good."
We got out of the car. Billy was behind me. "I think I should put you to bed."
"I'm fine Billy. It's just the morning sickness. Once it happens it passes. And it passed."
"You over worked yourself today, court and then seeing Max along with cleaning your room."
"Then what do you want me to do while keeping my brain off of the court hmm. Masterbate? Twitter my fingers and thumbs, read? What should you suggest I do? When Pipi said that he is going to move."
"Whoa! There is no need to snap at me for helping you. I'm just worried that you are over doing it. I don't care if you want to do stuff in your room a little at a time. Remember your pregnant." He was being calm after saying whoa.
"Who got me pregnant?" I did snap again, but did my best to change my tune. "I didn't over work myself, when you find out that most of the town knew about the beating that my father gave me... And they didn't do a god blessed thing about it. They just ignored it and hope that it was going to go away. You let me know how you would feel. While be pregnant, and then your boyfriend won't go see his freaking family. You let me know how it feels when you are pregnant. Then you can talk." I stopped up the stairs and into my room slamming the door.
Plopping myself in my bed as I cried, not loudly so he would hear. I just wanted to be alone. I did lock the door so he couldn't get in. I did in fact fall asleep on the bedroom floor. Knocking and then a soft pound on the door. "Mayflower, open the door please."
I didn't want to answer since it was now eight pm. If I keep quite he'll leave me alone. Just for tonight and in the morning we can or he can talk. Or Billy can talk to Heather since they are sooo besties. Licking my lips as he knocks on the door again.
"I just want to know if you are alive." Oh so you think I'm down that deep hill on wanting to hurt myself again? Oh fuck off!
I sat up, holding the blankets close to my chest. "I'm fine Billy." Now leave me alone.
"Alright good, good. Will you please let me in. I just want to talk."
"Not tonight Billy."
Trying to reason with me. "Will you promise when you go to bed, that you will unlock the door, in case if you have a seizure."
I lied to him. "Yes." I don't want you right now Billy. I don't want your help.
"Thank you..... I... I love you Tory." I could hear him leave.
My head hits the soft pillow.
