I felt like I was moving the car, opening my eyes. I was in the car. "Billy?" I softly whispered.

"Max was in a car accident." Gripping to onto the steering wheel.

"A car accident? How?" I readjusted myself. "Pull over." I felt like was going to throw up.

"Now?" I nod. "Okay." Pulling over to the side.

I open the car door. As I puked a little. Turning the radio down, his hand touched my lower back. No rubbing my back, just a lightful touch. Finishing up I sat up and shut the door. "Let's go." It took me a moment. "Wait, why are we going? I thought you wanted nothing to do with them." Leaning back into the seat. Taking some deep breathing.

"I don't." Starting drive when I got settled.

"Then why are we going?" Licking my lips as I held tight to the seatbelt.

"Because you would be mad at me if we left before seeing them." Being calm as he drove to the hospital. I closed my eyes as I rub my stomach. "It won't be the best food, but at least it's better than nothing." Hospital food.

I nod, laying my head back on the headrest. At the hospital, Lucas, Mike, Will, Jane, Dustin, all at the hospital. Will came up to me hugging me so tight. Patting his back. "Are we aloud to see them?"

"Susan is still in surgery, Max is in a coma."

"Oh dear! Does anyone know what happened?" I gasp as I grabbed hold my belly.

Dustin shook his head no. "Hopper didn't found no signs. If it was a person they ran on foot. No other car. And that's all we know."

"Is it okay if Billy and I go see her?"

Billy shook his head no. "I haven't seen her in years."

"Billy." I warned him in my warning voice.
Head went down. We both left as went for to Max's room. "I need to use the toilet." I said.

"What do you want me to do?"

"Talk to her or don't." I really didn't have to use the bathroom. But now I think I do. Just before opening the door, I heard Billy talking.

"T tells me that you are doing well for yourself and Susan." He looked into his hands. "I have been a horrible step brother to you." Sighing. "I didn't write, you know I hate writing. I should had told T to write to you. Cause maybe it wouldn't had been so awkward for us." Wearing his sneakers that squeaked. "For you to end up like this, this wasn't want I would ever wanted." Looking at her hand that was all cut up. Her oxygen box beeping. "I wouldn't take everything back... I would take how easily mad I would get at you." Inhaling in as he look at the window. Then back at her. "I just hope I don't end up like him. I want to better than he ever did." Shaking his head. "T forced me to come see you. And I just cancelled like it was nothing. When I should had at least seen how you were. Look at us. Shoulda coulda woulda." Exhaling. "Maybe when you wake up, I'll call now I said maybe. I'll definitely call you when the baby is born." Billy got real sad. "If Tory wants to keep the baby." Sighing in agony. "We never, well at least I never talk to you about my problem, cause I always thought you are the problem. I'm just worried for T lately. First she wanted to keep the baby and now she wants to get rid of everything in her body." Sighing again. "I don't want her too. Can't help but to try to understand. Because I don't want her to regret her decision on getting rid of everything. Or the baby. Just want her to be happy Max. What can I do?"

I didn't know that's how. I could had at least asked him. Opening up the door, coming out of the bathroom. Billy is still holding Max's hand. "Doing okay?" I walked towards him.

"Yeah." He stood up. "I better get you some food before we leave." Billy let's go of Max's hand by giving it a light squeeze. Hopping that I wouldn't see it.

I acted like I didn't because that was between them. "Alright." I held his hand before he left. "We'll return to Pipi's house and call up Steve and Joyce to tell them that we are leaving today. And we can do a quick run by Incase if they aren't home."

That sorta made Billy smile. "Really?"

"Yeah." Kissed his cheek before he left. Billy left the room when I sat down. "Well that was nice of him to talk to you. I did beg him. Boys they never lesson until it's to late." I smiled. "Max, don't give up. You have so many people that love you. Including Billy of he wants to show it or not. Heck out of your friend group I can't see those boys listening to Jane without you. Or your mom." I stroke her cheek. "I've missed your laugh, smile, being a smart ass like Billy. You know, growing up I had three cousins that I never see anymore because of what happened. Anyways, I was always jealous about how red their hair was. And always wanted a kid, if I still wanted back then."I kissed her hand. "In the end it will work out, wouldn't?"

Billy came back into the room with a sandwich. "Sorry that it took so long. I should had asked what you wanted. I just took a guess."

I smiled as I looked at him . "Whatever you have, will be fine, Billy."

Handing to me. "I hate seeing her in pain like this. She's always been a pain in the ass, but not like this T."

Taking his hand that he handed me the sandwich with. "All older siblings, even step. Think that their youngest are a pain. Of course you wouldn't." Kissed his hand as well. "You want to half it with me?"

"No. I can't stomach it right now. Let me know when you are ready to leave."

"Give me two more minutes I'll be ready."

Nodding as he left with his head down low.

I unwrapped the sandwich as I took a small bite. I spat it out. "Mayonnaise. My stomach cant eat that unless if it's devil eggs for some reason." I chuckled. "He tries. Get some rest Max and we'll stop by before Christmas. Come see you." Throwing the sandwich away.

I stand by Billy who was sitting next to Steve. "Mayonnaise right?" Steve could smell it.

"Shit." Billy mutters under his breath.

"It's fine I'm sure that Pipi will have something before we go "

"Yes." Steve stood up to hug me. "You'll be back at Christmas time right?"

"We'll try." I gave a little smile.

"Good. See you later."

Waving goodbye to Steve and the kids we went back to Pipi's.
