Billy was waiting with Heather in the back until we came back. Of course she would be here still. Pipi can tell that I was begging to tense up a bit. I don't know, I mean she hasn't done anything wrong by me, that I know of, I mean since we came back.

"Alright sweetheart. I have something to give you in my room and then you can be on your way of seeing Joyce." His arm placed on my shoulder. "Three minutes top Billy."

Inside through the back door. "Nana wanted me to give this to you when you had this first baby. Don't worry I have one for Steve." I mean we weren't in his room, I don't know why he said that cause we are in the kitchen.

Hands me a small gift. "Pipi, why don't you wait until the baby is born."

"No, no. Nana and I would talk about when the baby comes who knows if we are here or not. We want to make sure that our grand kids baby was secured."

Secured? For what college? Billy leaving? Closing my eyes. Stop it T! "Thank you." I hugged him so tight that I never wanted to let go.

"It's not much, a little token that from past generation. And a little cash." It was like it was nothing to him. But very touching.

I opened it. It was a locket. Picture of my mom on one side and the other it was when Steve and I was young with our nana and Pipi. I don't remember this being taken, there is a lot of stuff that I don't remember. "I thought nana died before I came here?"

He smiled. "That's my second wife. That's nana is more rememberable one. You see, after my first late wife died, I remarried about four years. Nana took in Aston and Steve's mom in like they were her own." He looks down. "The two of you loved her so much. After sending you away she died. You didn't remember a lot of things."

"Why didn't you tell me that Pipi?"

"Why bring it up? You were a kid traumatized by Aston that I wasn't ready to talk about Nana or Aston's mom. I'm sorry if that hurt you."

I shook my head. "No, I understand. Your son was put away first, then your second wife passed away. I don't blame you for keeping it from me. Why force me to remember." I'm a little upset. I see why.

Hugging him once more. Letting go of him as Billy came inside. "Joyce will think that we've forgotten about her, if we don't get a move on."

"See you later Pipi." Kissed his cheek before I walked away from him.

"See you at Christmas. Love you."

Pipi walked us to the car. Uncle Jim would pick up the car later. Looking out on the window I asked. "Glad to see that you and Heather became good friends."

"Eh... I think she was lonely and when she heard that I was back, thought she could pick off where we left off." Tapping the stirring wheel.

"And that was?"

"Good friends."

Ha! Good friends... Don't make me laugh, she was so into you. Staring at your ass, wanting you everytime you looked at her. Yeah good friends. I'm not saying that people can't change. But Heather I don't see. Maybe 10 percent I could see Tommy. Or Tina other than that... Nah. I nodded. "Okay. At least you had someone to talk to."

"I have you, I've always have you."

Really? Cause that's not what I heard. "I know, but I meant someone else then me. I'm sure you talk to your friends at your job about me."

"Nah. Their assholes. But I wouldn't say that.  Since two of them own the place."

I didn't say anything else after that. Billy played his music, as he drove. I went to sleep. Patting my leg as we got into town, we are at Joyce's new job. She runs her own job, which is nice. Going in as she was checking someone out. Billy went to the back to go to the bathroom.

Joyce was done and hugged me. "I'm glad that you wanted to say goodbye to me."

"Well of course I would. I want to stay a few more days. But I promised Billy that I would leave with him."

"Billy doesn't own you sweetie you can stay in Hawkens as long as you want." We went to the other back area.

"I know. But I did promise him. Besides he wants to be in his bed and apparently he didn't do well while I was gone." I said jokingly.

"Billy is very lucky to have you."

I nod. "Has Hopper told you anything about Max?"

"No. Even those kids are like my own. He's careful what not to tell me."

Ha.. I think he tells you lot more than what you are telling me. Oh well. Rubbing my belly. "I hope they find some answers and that Max and Sisan comes out of it okay. That's why I also hate leaving here."

Tucking my hair behind my ear. "I know honey. Max is in good hands. Where's Billy?"

Looking around the room. He should had been back by now."Ugh.. I think he said bathroom. He might wanted to use it for the drive to the airport."

"Smart thinking." Her hands went on my belly. "So are you excited to be a mom?"

"Kinda. It's nerve wracking about not to think of losing it. Or something is wrong because of me."

"You have nothing to worry about. Just keep think happier thoughts. And what to call him or her."

"What did mom call me before she chose my name?"

"Angel. Because she thought she wouldn't get to be a mom. She had three miscarriage before you were born."

For the second time I looked around for Billy. "I better see if he didn't get lost."

"Alright make sure before you leave that you come say goodbye."

I nod, I went to the back where Billy had gone. He was on the phone talking. "Billy?" I pretended to look for him.

I hid as his head span around. He last words on the phone was. "Okay see you later." Hanging up the phone he was out from the back. Heather?

After I waited a few then came out from the back as Billy was talking to Joyce. "There you are." Billy's hand went to my shoulder. "I heard you and then we seem to miss each other."

"Yeah." I didn't smile at him like I was happy to see him or anything. I looked over at Joyce. "We're going to try to be home for Christmas. So hopefully see you then." I hugged her.

"Oh that would be grand. Then you can see my new house! Bye Billy please take care of my girl."

"Always."

Up your ass Billy. Shit I need to eat.
