Raven looked at the cappuccino art that Tyler made them do. Her's was pretty neat, although nothing compared to what Xavier had done on his.

"Okay, since you two seem to get the hang of the basics, I'll just show you our valentines drinks and then you should be done" Raven's face scrunched in confusion. "Valentine's drinks?...why?" She asked "because it's Valentine's Day..." Tyler looked at her perplexed. "Don't bother Galpin...The Addams hate romantic celebrations" Xavier said as he was cleaning the espresso machine as Tyler required.

"Huh...why doesn't that seem to surprise me?" He asked rhetorically. "I hate everything that involves sweets, singing, gestures and gifts" she said point blank. "Soo every holiday including your birthday?" He asked as he served a client. "Oh no I like my birthday... We celebrate the invention of the electric chair" she said nonchalantly "August 6th" Xavier remembered "yeah I went to a few of your birthday parties as a kid... I got you the mini version of the electric chair" he then added. "Oh how I loved that chair... but then it broke"

Tyler pretended to not be weirded out by the fact that she used to own an electric chair. "How did it break?" He asked, she looked at him dead in the eyes. "Over usage" she simply said. "...got it, so all holidays excluding your birthday. Does that mean that you never celebrated Valentine's Day?" He asked her. She nodded as she stacked the doughnuts like he asked her to do. "Does Nevermore not do anything for Valentine's Day?" Raven shook her head. Xavier finished polishing the machines and looked at him "Does your school do something for Valentine's Day?" Tyler finished serving a customer and looked back at him.

"Well yeah... we have to buy heart shaped candy for everyone...and other things like that" Raven adjusted her apron "doesn't that defeat the whole...'give it to who you like' purpose?" She asked genuinely confused. "Yes well, then you would go out on a date with your girlfriend or boyfriend and you would give them more expensive gifts... You guys never did that?" He asked.

"I did" Xavier answered "Bianca was very into Valentine's Day. So I would have to take her on dates, picnics...skinny dipping" Raven cringed. "What about you?" Tyler asked Raven. Raven though how to put it into words... she never had a problem with the fact that she never dated anyone, although admitting it to Tyler just felt... Embarrassing. "Raven is a virgin, she has never been on a date" Xavier interrupted with a mouth full of doughnuts before she could even speak.

She slapped him upside the head "oww!" He whined "I proposed you to go skinny dipping with the Nightshades a couple of times, you could have lost it then!" She slapped him again "OW!"

"You never had a boyfriend before?" He interrupted the two bickering Nevermore students. She looked at him trying to suppress the blush that was creeping up her cheeks. "I like solitude...and hate what people do on dates" she said as she stacked more doughnuts to replace the ones Xavier ate.

"What dreadful things do you think people do on dates?" Xavier asked genuinely curious. "Go to the beach, give flowers, chocolate, diabetes, karaoke...skinny dipping" Xavier chuckled at how cynical she was.

"So...If had to invite you to somewhere with no beach, no flowers, karaoke, or...skinny didpping...would it still be a no?" Tyler asked catching Raven off guard and almost making her drop the cup of coffee she just made. Even Xavier dropped what he was doing to look at Tyler incredulous.

Before either of them could say something, the door bell rang and Wednesday came through the door with a tired Eugene, covered in his own vomit, who was lazily draped on her shoulder.

"Eugene?!...what happened?!" She ran up to the boy from behind the counter and took him out of Wednesday's shoulder. "A bunch of bullies" Wednesday said as Raven placed Eugene in one of the booths. Xavier and Tyler came up to see what the fuss was all about. "What happened?" Xavier asked at the sight of Eugene.

"Normie bastards" Raven whispered in rage, she turned to look at Tyler "No offense" he shook his head "none taken"

"Tyler I need to speak with you" said Wednesday out of the blue. The others ,including Tyler, looked at her perplexed "In private" Tyler nodded reluctantly and led her to the back.
"Ooohh, what do you think they're doing in there" Xavier whispered suggestively which earned him a slap on the arm "will you stop that!" He complained.

Raven directed her attention back to Eugene. "How are you feeling?" She asked him worriedly. "...I'm fine..." Raven could clearly see tears brimming his eyes. She placed a hand on his shoulder "do you want a cup of tea and a chocolate doughnut?" She asked in hopes to cheer him up. He nodded and a smile began to creep on his face, Raven smiled too. "Okay I'll bring them to you, hold on" she walked back behind the counter with Xavier following suit.

"I though you considered the whole 'giving sweets and chocolate' thing repulsive" Xavier said as he decided to help her make the cup of lemon tea. "Well yeah..." she looked at Eugene who was trying to clear away his tears with the back of his dirty sleeves "But Eugene always does things he doesn't like just to make me happy"

She took the cup of tea and his doughnut, and brought them to his table. "Okay now go change, I'll guard your things, the bathroom is on the left" she said as she took a seat in front of him. He looked at her with a smile and got up to go and change.

Raven pondered for a few minutes...she was not an easy person to get along with...she rarely liked anyone. But she could never imagine a world where Eugene wasn't right there by her side. They were like 'Batman and Robin'...or how they preferred to put it, 'Max and Caroline.'
